Phraktal - Look Inside

Henrik Nielsen aka Fletch, fell in love with music at a very early age and has been releasing tracks since 1993 on the likes of Coma Records, FFRR, Force Inc and Tommy Boy. He pursued house music and made a 2 track single release that came out on Copenhagen’s Spark Records, which was run by Mickey (TBM1) Billberg who also introduced him to Limbo Records at that time. Associating himself with big Ibiza names such as Pepe Rosello and Jose Padilla, Henrik soon received attention from the likes of Positiva Records and has had support from BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Pete Tong on a number of remixes.

‘Transamerican’ - one of the many epic tracks to materialize from the Glasgow dance label Limbo Records has been transformed into a breakbeat sensation. Originally released in 1993 by Sublime, Scotlands’ Galaxy 82 ignites memories of raves in vast open spaces, thousands of rave revellers fully immersed in their bid for escapism. ‘Transamerican (Galaxy 82 Remix) makes no apologies for it’s clunky synth structure and is masterfully blended with more current production techniques. A swelling crescendo culminates with the iconic bellows of ‘somebody scream’, leading into a mass moment of euphoria with additional strings, layered synths making that unmistakable staccato melody all the more poignant.

Worked the lights and lasers in the legendary Hanger 13 in Ayr before progressing to djing in pubs and clubs in Ayrshire during the nineties. 
Spent many an hour hanging out and crate digging in 23rd precinct over the years and in the early noughties with 23rd employee Derek Taylor and good friend Duncan Bankhead started a monthly progressive house night called Foundations, Djing alongside the likes of Chris Lake and Barry Gilbey. 
There then came a bit of a hiatus but after djing at a party circa 2010 a new night was born.
Alongside my dj partner in crime Duncan we started an occasional night we named Goodlife playing a retrospective night of big tunes from back in the day, always on vinyl!
Live streaming became the norm during the pandemic and to the day as Goodlife we have streamed over 60 weekly sets to our followers .
I have many influences however my mix represents the sound that I have always loved. Whether you call it progressive house, organic house, melodic house or just underground house music if it's got that melody and bass you'll find it in there somewhere.

Kenny Clark is Scottish based Dj and has been influenced by the sounds of Sasha & Digweed, Anthony Pappa & Steven McCreery. His sound varies from deep hypnotic progressive vibes all the way through to peak time techno.

"I like to play longer sets and incorporate different genres to go through the gears and keep things interesting!"

Kenny is one half of the Magnetic North duo and regularly takes part in live broadcasts on Stirling City radio with long time Dj partner Graham Doc.

Not only were Limbo Records the leading label in Progressive House...they created it.
