When your alone in the room full of shadows, and  the ghosts of your past are asleep ,

They say if you count them, the shadows multiply at your feet,

Better light a candle,  in the darkness you'll get some rest, but be certain you don't provide them, with a place to curl up on  your chest,

It's a heavy weight to carry,  it's the heavy cloak of the night, to lay your demons down  to rest, while play with shadows in the light.
