How do we reconcile with such inconceivable atrocity and carry on living as if everything is normal?

This mix explores these expressions. Recorded at 140bpm - spanning a range of sounds from techno, to percussive, to bass, to gqom, to dubstep.

SOFT-SUB is the deconstructed, low-slung evolution of BASS-DRIVEN.

Stripping back the high-octane grit of 140 and percussive techno, SOFT-SUB explores the weighted-ambient side of bass music. It is a curation of deep-listening textures, dub-wise minimalism, and deconstructed percussion, designed specifically for high-fidelity spaces and late-night lounges.

Rooted in a punk mentality, the series proves that "soft" doesn't mean "weak." It is a sophisticated sonic exploration of submissive energy and vulnerability as strength, through soft textures, low bpms, and beats that make you think.

Between pulse and spirit, limi finds the edges of sound — bass as language, rhythm as resistance. Her sets unfold like rituals: percussive, fluid, ungoverned. Rooted in the underground yet reaching beyond it, she crafts moments anchored in punk energy and diasporic pulse.

With a decade behind the decks, she’s carved a space between heavy bass pressure and cathartic emotional release, moving through 140, left-field techno, and visceral percussive experiments blurring genre and gravity.
