Jackuzzi (@jack_vh) takes up the next spot in our Hot Series. This jack-of-all-trades has embodied a varied but consistent sound throughout the years, with most of his inspirations coming from digging in some of our local record shops. Next to being a part of the Ezekiel Soundsystem DJ collective, he is also the founder of the Ezekiel 25:17 party concept. Apart from his collective, Jackuzzi distinguishes himself with his solo act, favoring a trip to the more progressive and minimalistic sides of the musical spectrum. Feeling a mutual connection through sound, our next guest didn’t hesitate to take part in the next Hot Series. 

After our first Hotbox night at Onder Stroom, a more mellow side of the Hotbox is explored in our sixth installment of the series. It starts off slow and catches you by surprise, slowly descending into the deeper territories… Jackuzzi goes through different genres, showcasing his recent diggs and current favorites. One hour of carefully selected records from his wax collection. Next up was 3 Years Of Happiness Therapy, where she made a lauded appearance via The Heat Beat, and now comes something particularly special: her first full-length debut with the six-track EP Weekend.

Honing her craft at Parisian and Brusselian house parties, Baka G’s musical output embodies an inherently infectious positive energy.
