After Pittos album "Objects In A Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear" on GREEN, we could not wait to put out fresh material from the blooming artist. With his new multi-layered EP "Shadows" Pitto yet again takes us deep into house music. The beautiful melody played by Woodie S, the continuos clicking pattern and the synthesised baseline create a sublime piece of audio that has an almost supernatural perspective. The introduction of vocals accentuates the echoes of the lyrics that adds another dimension to Johannes Breacht Remix. While Edwin Oosterwal's Dub adds further depth creating a chilled vibe by intensifying the other worldly state the track divulges into.

2015 will see German techno mainstay Stephan Bodzin ready to unleash his next full-length musical vision on the world. Entitled “Powers of Ten”, the 10-track album will land in June 2015 on his own Herzblut Recordings and provides another great insight into the melodically rich muscle mind of this modern great.
Says Stephan Bodzin of the LP: “Powers of Ten has been with me all my life and is named after a book that has been my background hiss, its confusing truth is my only real faith and its infinity shows me its finiteness. The album is about harmonies, melodies, rhythms. It is an homage to Bob Moog, full of techno beats and sounds and space and party and ecstasy and dancing and listening, and crying and feeling. It is a journey, a philosophy of life, a view of the world, a vague perception. It is my wife, my children, my family, my friends, my passion, my enemy, my greatest fulfillment, my fear, my deepest peace, my power, all my love.”
As such, this album is hugely personal and is filled with cerebral messages and well thought out concepts. All this shines through and makes it an all the more engaging listen from start to finish. Kicking off with the spine tingling chords and louche beats of ‘Singularity’ cuts like ‘Lila’ then continue to confirm that Stephan Bodzin has a classical understanding of melody that is way beyond your average.
‘Blue Giant’, ‘Wir’ and ‘Ix’ all manage to be uplifting and thoughtful at the same time as driven and groovy, whilst ‘Birth’ comes on with a hymnal high note, long tailed pads and subtly shifting beats. The ghostly grooves of ‘Zulu’ mark a majestic mid point to the album, which then continues to seduce with spiritual synths and more beautiful melodies on cuts like ‘Odyssee’ as well as the album’s standout title track.
Unfolding coherently and in soothing fashion, this album once again proves that few producers in the modern world have a knack for melody and an ear for sonic ingenuity quite like Stephan Bodzin.


Theta Eridani (θ Eri, θ Eridani) is a star in the constellation Eridanus. It has the traditional name Acamar from the Arabik Ākhir an-nahr which means "the end of the river“.

Acamar's distance from Earth as measured by the Hipparcos astrometry satellite is approximately 120 light-years.
Ptolemy described Acamar as a first-magnitude star, which some have taken to be in fact Achernar, which today appears just above the horizon in Alexandria where Ptolemy lived.
Achernar, however, was not visible to Ptolemy (it is from Alexandria today due to procession); its declination in 100CE was -67, making it invisible even at Aswan. Ptolemy's Eridanus thus without doubt ended at Acamar, which rose about 10 degrees above the horizon from Alexandria. This fact besides positively identifying Acamar as the original "end of the river", also strengthens the case for Acamar having been first magnitude in ancient times.

“You know it's true, don't you?" You know it's true, sometimes emotions can be darn unsettling and disturbing – as they flow deep down our consciousness uncovering fears, thoughts and feelings. Yes, if we're focused too much on our personal hedonistic euphorias, sometimes we lose that... It gets lost; You know it's true. You may know it's true.

Manfredi Romano aka Dj Tennis shapes this treasure, a release that is decisively out of the box; a small cathedral made of subtle shades and unusual EQ's, where ideas seduce and frighten.

That's “Divisions”, led by Danish singer and guitarist Jeppe Kjellberg. Who's words and voice are carefully crafted as a precious, poisoning weapon of concern and bewilderment; as it is “Chirality” a deep, insistent, gelid voyage. Which distinctively in this round, We find ourselves not only with Tennis' masterful production skills but also the astounding addition of Sophie Trudeau's string work – she's been the driving force behind the string sections of legendary Canadian post-rockers Godspeed You Black Emperor, one of the most dark, cinematic and unsettling rock acts of the last decades – which really ads a poignant and visionary mood and emotions we rarely encounter and by that we can rarely breathe.

The original edits have been respectfully and creatively revisited by techno pioneer Roman Flügel, who masterfully rubs “Divisions”; turning it into a sensual, devious, laid down affaire. Lastly, closing the ride , the legendary English duo Plaid - true masters and innovators within the Intelligent Dance Music field- grace “Chirality” with their very own touch made of alien sounds, mutant rhythm architectures, warm dynamics and heartbreaking melodic caresses that iconically represents their visions.

Kanto Records' founder Oceanvs Orientalis' brand new three-track EP "Dance Of Swords" is out now! Available on digital stores! 

The EP is a culmination of intermittent composing made by Oceanvs Orientalis amid his extensive touring schedule during the past 12-month period. Mixed and recorded in various locations from Ibiza to New York to Istanbul the EP consists tracks cherry picked to form a conceptual testament to Spain based producer's ever-continuing creative streak while on the road. 

	The first track that bears the same name as the EP, is built upon a nicely curated beat led by a punchy bass line. It has the potential to stir up the dance floors with its upbeat tempo. Second track of the EP is a six-minute-long melodic stream named Truths of Relativity peppered with some twangy beats and portrays a subtle yet tempered texture. The third and last track of the Volga the Horse, features Rami Abousabe of Brooklyn-based duo Bedouin on guitars.

The cover image of the EP, deftly shot by aspiring Turkish photographer Onur Girit, is a match made in heaven with the general mood of the EP.
