One of my favorite songs. It feels especially close to the heart as we have been stripped of so much human interaction this year, left reminiscing of past encounters. I've spent the year kind of in the middle of nowhere, becoming familiar with isolation and nature. It's nice to escape to a memory of New York. And while Chelsea Hotel No. 2 is Leonard Cohen's memory, singing this song has become a form of escapism for me during this year. I hope it does the same for you. 

And yes, I changed "that one line" to make it a bit more palatable for my mom. Sorry Leonard.
