Tunisian singer/songwriter and oud player.
Walid Rouissi has created a modern hybrid style based on two totally different worlds of music. Afro-Arabic rhythm serves as the bases, combined with European sound, producing a new kind of "Dance Music". Not authentic RAI, but a mixture of Reggae, Folklore and Jeel music. The origin of his music is found in Calypso and various Arabic-African as well as Latin-American music forms.

The story behind the edit:
@aaronmaple first discovered Amira Saqati through a mixtape he was listening to via Soundcloud last fall. He remembers quickly browsing Amira Saqati's discography after the discovery and enjoying many songs from it. Hel Aeynik's vocals and melody got him right away. 
Aaron Maple version is a dancefloor oriented version with more groove to play at peak time. He recorded new drums and a new bassline. And he reorganized the structure and played with samples but kept vocals in the core element of the song.
