Since I faced technical difficulties uploading my most recent song, "Within My Heart," I've decided to remove it from my profile, and instead upload this one. This is a piece I wrote last March, based on Toni Morrison's novel, Beloved.

Dropping Water

This is a very simple song I wrote back in August. The vocals and piano portray a sort of auditory sunrise: the quiet of the night, the growing light, the sudden dawn, the peaceful serenity of day.

Sunrise

A fun little instrumental piece that I wrote over spring break. I recommend listening with headphones or good speakers to hear the effect of the bass guitar, but if you choose to listen to it through the awful little built in speakers on your laptop, I'll still love you.

Peter Piper

I'm a singer/songwriter from Maine, currently studying at Tufts University. In my spare time, I annoy my floor mates with my constant singing, although they're too kind to admit it. I've been writing, playing, and recording music since I was around the age of ten, back when I didn't play guitar and I sang in the soprano range.

In 2012, I wrote, directed, and produced a musical called, "Holy Cow! The Moosical." It's about human nature, but it's told through cows. It was met with raving reviews; people laughed, cried—one woman almost fainted, but I think that's because the theater was excruciatingly hot...
