This is far from our best work in its current condition. Not yet happy with this rough draft. Definitely not a favorite ! The ongoing huge wildfires that continue to burn in Northern California's Sonoma and Napa counties are both a natural and human tragedy that has effected so many here.  Currently there are almost 10,000 firefighters risking their lives to fight the massive infernos, and over 40 people are confirmed dead and over 200 missing and also presumed dead.  I composed this piece today after reflecting on this horrific situation.  Wishing those involved safety and best wishes all to at long last contain and bring this fire under control.   Our prayers to the lives lost and those injured from this disaster.  Fellow SoundClouder Zach Brown lives in the area and has been displaced from his home while the fires are being battled, unknown to him whether or not his home is still standing.
