A Sunday afternoon delight from two of techno's most beloved heavy-hitters arrives exclusively on our Soundcloud.

Berlin techno viking and founder of Dystopian Records Rødhåd and the young, accomplished and Mote-Evolver regular Rene Wise have released their 4 hour set recording from March 2023, a huge B2B session that saw the pair delve in and out of eachother’s company for our last Continuum party. They played an extended set during the final Continuum 24+hour party of the season this Spring. 

The session, which started at 4pm as the tail end of the afternoon drew in and went on til 8pm ahead of a closing set from Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann, proved to be one of our highlights from the event. It's a real treat to be able to share the full recording; smashers from the get-go that takes us through the hard and heavy, to the atmospheric and energetic.

Lock in below and transport to the incomparable energy of Room 1 on a Sunday afternoon. Sometimes, we reckon, there's no place like it.

Techno professional DVS1 drops his set from back in October 2021, where he helmed a stellar session in Room 1 for the 25 Years of Blueprint Records celebrations.

We needn’t say much more; this is a true masterclass in distinct, pin-point and punchy techno goodness from start to finish.

We've been playing for the crew at Robot Heart for close to a decade now and each experience we've had is always so memorable, mostly because of the love and appreciation we feel from the whole crew and their impeccable attention to detail, allowing us to do what we do best, play records. 

When we were invited for the inaugural season of events in Oakland, we were deeply honored. 

We hope you all enjoy this set of select deeper than deep cuts from our record bags to your ears. Long live Robot Heart!

For the first time in our 25-year history, we are releasing a live solo recording by Craig Richards from the club. 

“This mix was recorded on the second of December at a Continuum party. I commenced just after five and finished at nine. The heady combination of nostalgia coupled with the past, the future and more importantly my daughter dancing next to me, resulted in a mix that I felt happy with. Historically, I have been very self-critical and have chosen not to release many mixes. Across nearly four hours this one seems to encapsulate the twenty five years of playing at fabric. In 1998 I was invited by Keith Reilly to play weekly at what was an imaginary nightclub. I had no idea that experience would continue for so many years. Playing vinyl on that sound system and mixer is highly exciting and a joy in itself. I am delighted that this has been my method of sonic communication and remain deeply grateful for my ongoing residency.” - Craig Richards

In recent years, Elmar's surroundings have become a powerful creative force, driving him to maximize his potential. Alongside longtime friend Florian Frings, he founded 5D.records.  'LIFE exists. Now, we must bridge the gap between the '5th' and 'reality.' How? Keep your mind open, and you'll hear it—no words needed.'  In 2012, Elmar's artistic vision culminated in his debut album, 'living.LIFE,' originally conceived as a live set for a festival. The album, a collection of intimate soundscapes, was released on 5D.records in December 2013.  A few months later, a big dream came true when Elmar released his first 4-track EP, 'DayNight,' on Richie Hawtin's M_NUS label.  Three years after his debut, he's back with his second album, 'EXISTED.live,' also on 5D.records, followed by the 'EXISTED.live Remix Series A – I' in 2017.  Currently, Elmar is a key figure in Breger's 'Kafka Tempo' label.  5D: Where creative theory becomes sound reality.
