About the Track:

Hot on the heels of his recent ‘Control Freak’ release the label, bossman Dave Seaman is back flexing his muscles on Selador once more, armed with another bountiful package that signals intent for 2018.

This time Dave shows off a more subtle side as he constructs ‘Virgo Ryzin’ around an incessant lead line that bristles with brooding understated energy. It’s beguiling and vibrant, considered and assured, the mark of a man who’s just celebrated his 30th anniversary in the dance music industry. 

Remix-wise, the Audiojack juggernaut rolls into town fresh from their recent chart topping adventures. The Ibiza based UK duo’s star has been in the ascendency for some time and it’s not hard to see why. Another outright winner. 

Next we are delighted to welcome Joeski back to the label after his last remix for Dave formed part of the ‘Justified Replacement Of Lulu’ release back in 2014. This time he employs an Afro flavour for a heritage inspired mix that takes us back to our roots. It began in Africa!

Sasha Braemer has been on the Selador hit list for what seems like an eternity, so we’re very happy to say we finally got our man. The ever reliable German adds his considerable pedigree to proceedings with a stylish interpretation that has it’s fair share of surprises. 

And completing the line up, it’s another Selador outing for Techno young guns, Loco & Jam. Following their recent success on Suara & Tronic, the Northern Irish duo deliver another slammer for all your all big room, bass heavy requirements. 

All bases covered. Another home run. 

What a way to start the year.

We've assembled an all-star crew of artists to remix an incredible original by Active Child. Everyone truly brought their A-game, and the results speak for themselves. Many timeless dance floor moments are sure to come from this release. 

MDK is a new project by someone responsible for some of the most iconic tracks in the past 10 years. The man behind it is none other than Matthew Dekay. Joining him is another legend, known for his emotional and unique approach, someone taking a no-compromise approach to production and sound quality, a man that needs no introduction – Stimming.

As chance would have it, a couple more of our dear friends wanted to join this project, upon hearing about it, quickly turning it into a mini-album. Dave DK's Pacific Ride is a melodic journey, while his stripped down Topanga Dub goes into darker territory. This one will be right at home in the desert or a warehouse, just the way we like it. Pablo Bolivar rounds things out with a serious four to the floor jam, alongside a nostalgic ambient version that serves as a perfect closer to this remix EP.

‘Unco’ is the first track on the EP, and here Himade created a thick and heavy techno banger with a pleasantly classical feel. 

Next the heat rises with Marco Berto and A.R.U.N. with ‚Scaramanga’. Warm soft where it needs to be and harder in all the right ways to keep the dancefloor hustling. 

Senses of Mind bring a dark atmosphere with sinister undertones in ‘Kigali’. Tension rises with a consistent arp and the pressure is increased to create another sweaty techno number.

Stolberg on the other hand, takes us back to a warm bed of plucked strings and vocals in the distance as the sun peeks from the horizon. A warm, catchy tune and a fantastic close to a wonderful journey from beginning to end.

Next chapter of our story is by the duo of open-minded musicians from Israel this time. Laroz, who has recently been pitched with Diynamic FTTF release, is co-uniting with Yost Koen; the producer, which has been released with worldwide reputable labels as Innervisions, AEON and Watergate. 'Affektion' is purposefully effective track with the hypnotizing vocals of Negra and the progressive electrified synthesizers. We do believe the track is strong enough to stand as itself, so we couldn't miss it after hearing.
