Uplifting master illitheas is back on Abora Skies with "Epica", the sequel to his previous massive hit "Endless".

The release starts off with the original mix, filled with wonderful uplifting melodies, powerful basslines, driving plucks, a beautiful breakdown, and a euphoric climax.

German producer Etasonic comes back to Abora with this new release with Dany G, featuring Afternova on remix duties: "Flying in a Dream".

The release starts with the original mix. This track was originally inspired by a story told by Dany G about a girl who goes home after a tiring, rainy day, falls asleep in bed, and then dreams a bright colorful dream, in which an angel takes her flying through a beautiful happy world, full of light, full of colors, full of green meadows and flowers, and even a rainbow, until she finally wakes up.

This beautiful track is a retelling of the story into music. The original mix focuses a lot on the breakdown. Meanwhile, a pretty strong and pumping intro, piano, pads, and melodies in the breakdown are the core of this track. They then lead to a powerful and compelling climax full of emotions and feelings.

Next up is the Sentimental Mix. This is a chilled mix that elaborates upon the original breakdown, enhanced with multiple orchestral instruments. The result is an inspiring song, driven by a melancholic piano and energetic pads.

We then have the honor to present our very own Afternova's remix. We can definitely feel Afternova's spin on this one, with a very different approach to the breakdown, which is faster and more club-oriented. Filled with classic trance plucks and an emotional solo string section, the track finally leads to a gorgeous climax.

Finally, Afternova presents a wonderful orchestral mix. This one is a very special remix that contains most of what an emotional orchestra should have: great background vocals, quality powerful strings, passionate wind instruments, and a touching reverbing piano.

This October, Black Hole Recordings introduced a new vocal name to the electronic music domain. The man behind the Lyonheart mask is by no means though a singing/songwriting tenderfoot. Over the last half-decade or so, he’s notched up club hits alongside the likes of (hey, hint!) BT, Oakenfold, Chicane, MYNC & others. However, with ‘Amelia’, his lead-out single (and into 2016, a full artist album), he’s ushering in a new sound, feel and era to his music. Drawing on his multi-instrumental roots of indie/alternative and unifying them with slick electronic production to create a soaring, electrifying vocal anthem; Amelia really hits the spot. 

Uncompromising in it’s use of live instruments and huge synth-sounds, it’s the kind of music which defines Lyonheart’s sound as a master of attention-to-detail and songwriting expertise. Holland’s label-finest are blazing Lyonheart’s trail with a run of remixes that take the radio-oriented Original Mix and repoint it in the direction of club floors. Precursor versions from LTN, Somna and Brian Laruso, all heralding the Original, have been released in October and November. Leading this month-long mix-charge is AVA Recordings young-gun Somna... He wastes no time in putting march into the drums, intensifying the LFO, hooking the floor in with some serious distortion and – drop-side – electrifying with his piano lines. Seeding the intro of his mix with a more melodic feel, one of the principal breakthrough trance names of 2015 drop his take on ‘Amelia’. Louis ‘LTN’ Tan spins the harmonies far & wide and, with escalating synth ascension, matches ‘Amelia’s vocal tone note-for-note. 

Black Hole’s third remixer takes a cooler, more chilled approach to the track. Regular Roger Shah production cohort Brian Laruso shuffles in the timbale percussion and delivers a dusk-tinged version, which gives Lyonheart’s vocal more of a lamenting, summer-ending wistfulness.
