One of Japan’s most ambitious and well-known techno icons, Ken Ishii is a long serving and respected pioneer, who started out by having numerous appearances on the legendary Belgian-born label R & S Records as far back as 1993. His back catalogue also includes Marco Bailey’s MB Elektronics, Harthouse and a new track on M.R.E.U.X’s Blumoog, while collaborating with Marc Romboy on his sublime Systematic Recordings too. Ken has taken his epic mixing skills to cities like Geneva’s Audio Club with Surgeon, New York’s Output with Function and Lady Starlight, Madrid’s Fabrik with Ben Sims and Paul Kalkbrenner, Tokyo’s Contact with Jeff Mills as well as London, Melbourne, Dubai, Berlin and Detroit to name only few, proving his status as a must-see and internationally loved DJ. This weeks Real_Techno mix is from none other than the Space DJ'z Ben Long! He's given us a slammin' mix featuring Surgeon, Broom, Voorn, Sims, Garnier, Hood, Mills and many other luminaries of the global techno scene.
Honing his skills Ben’s debut appearance was alongside Bandulu and The Orb. It was Infonet that was to be the platform for The Space DJ’z first release ‘Loose Change’ then again when the duo’s seminal ‘Return to Earth’ Ben used his new found fame to set up his own record label Potential Recordingz.
Soon Ben’s production and remixing skills were in demand from such heavyweight techno labels as Primate, Tortured, Advanced, Audio, Potential has featured producers such as Umek, Ade Fenton and Chris McCormack, and the label releases the highest quality techno.
As dj’s, Ben Long and Jamie Bissmire have been performing individually, and as Space DJ’z for over 25 years, regularly playing at techno clubs across the world.

Linear Straight is not a newcomer to the music scene.
Becoming one of belgium's next export products. Pushing a typical dark, uplifting underground sound with unique soundscapes, he's progressively evolved into a club music all-round artist.
Producing, DJing, performing live with modulars and instruments by the companies he works for like Soma laboratory (Russia) Ableton and Roland.
He's has put out stunning records on the likes of Konsequent records, MBR limited, Coincidence, Rhythm convert(ed), Monotone:audio, Illogic and performed from Fuse, Kompass, Prisma to Griessmuehle to Extrema Outdoor, Voltage Festival, Materia, Cirque Magique and AFTRsun festival aside of names like Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Jeroen Search, PEARL falling ethics, DVS1, Anthony Rother, Black Asteroid, Brian Sanhaji, Rebekah and more.
After survived the 90's as one of the youngest DJ's from Belgium behind the decks at an impressive amount of clubs in the capital, he became since 2002 a decisive stronghold in the belgian Techno scene.
His time slot is always something to look forward to.
He’s also the man behind the well respected Radical G name, a prolific ghost rider under various moniker roles, partnered with The Horrorist and is regarded as one of the best remixers doing the job for names like Front 242, The Neon Judgement, A Split second and was one of the few Belgians who was remixed by artists like The Hacker, David Carretta & Workerpoor and Dave Clarke & Mr Jones as Unsubscribed...
In 2007,2009,2011 he toured around the world with this alias in South America and USA.
This huge experience in DJing and producing led in 2014 to Linear Straight, followed by the likes of Jeroen Search, Maral Salmassi and Abstract division.
Taking his career to the next level he recently released an EP on Konsequent records with remixes by Jeroen Search in awaiting of his first Full album on one of Berlin's finest imprints.
End 2018/ Begin 2019 will see further development of his alias releasing on well respected labels worldwide, solo and in collaboration with partners and friends with a similar sound.
