Hi, @badabing.diskos released two cool remixes last week. I worked on “Taksi Helsinki” which is the 7th track from @vinnyvillbass “Windows” album.
The remix has some hints of space disco, with plucks, arpeggios and the main melody is supported by a funky bass line.

Alejandro, known artistically as Casablanca 303, is a Bogotá - born electronic music producer and DJ currently based in Oslo, Norway. Since launching the Casablanca 303 project in 2014, he has cultivated a distinctive sound that blends house and deep house with influences from jazz, acid house, krautrock, disco, and other electronic subgenres. His creative approach has earned him a reputation as a forward-thinking artist.

Casablanca 303 has released music on his own imprint, Cocuy Records (Colombia), as well as on renowned Norwegian labels such as Badabing Diskos, Mhost Likely, and Lab Cleaning Jams. These releases reflect his artistic vision and dedication to pushing the boundaries of electronic music production.

Regarding his Extravaganza remix - when he first heard the song, he instantly loved it, and a spark of creativity took shape. Naturally inspired by the Soul Clap Records sound and Norwegian space disco, he started jamming and ended up with a funky, arpeggiated track. Without any expectations, and before reaching out to the Soul Clap team, he finished the remix and shared it with friends and colleagues, receiving great feedback and a strong response.

Casablanca 303 unveils Nonsense Talks, a dynamic house track driven by a deep, rolling bassline, infectious drums, and the unmistakable acid bite of the 303. Recorded in Oslo and released by @cocuyrecords, this release delivers a refined yet electrifying groove, crafted to captivate listeners and ignite dancefloors.

Casablanca 303 - Nonsense talks (4 A.M.)

"Summer Rites" is the new single by Casablanca 303.
Inspired by jazzy moods, the track is built from multiple instrumental layers, featuring lush jazz chords performed on electric piano, a bassline created with a Moog Voyager, and sampling-based stabs. Some of the percussion was performed on a Roland SPD-20, along with real percussive instruments.

In the middle section, Alejandro (Casablanca 303) delivers a spoken message inviting listeners to celebrate life, setting the tone for summer with a touch of nostalgia.

The track is suitable for electronic music clubs but also works well as easy listening.
