one on one (Hall & Oates) remix

This piece is inspired by a feeling of darkness surrounding and confronting my fears. The piece starts with a xylophone/marimba instrument that represents the tranquil nature in me, which slowly builds into a creeping slow backbeat accompanied by acoustic guitar. I was able to get an arpeggiated bass using a synthesizer that created extra tension in the track.  The underlying layer of pads were extremely fun to experiment and synthesize. This was inspired by a game soundtrack.
