AHOY! Fresh Faces WARM UP Mix

Deep House offers such a variety of feelings whenever it is being played...upbeat enough to dance to, yet still chilled enough to relax to, hence my decision to upload a late-last-night recorded mix! A smooth flow of funk, vocal vibes and a touch of soul is what I hope to deliver to you all in Volume 01 of 'House in the Abyss'.

One of the most isolated cities in the world can sometimes be home to some exuberant talent. I make music that makes your parents cringe.
Linked.Up is a fresh taste.

Linked.Up (Luke Thomas) hasn't always attacked the musical scene hiding behind this name. Let's take a quick step back in time.

Perth, Western Australia, April 1998. From this point forward, once Luke's musical talent, rhythm and flare was noticed as a child, it was to be utilised and leaned out for many upcoming years to distinguish his future.

Classes started, training and learning began. Brass, Percussion and Wind instruments are where his ears began to learn notes, tones, keys, pitch and tempo. After 9 years of playing numerous instruments, dancing and singing, he was upon an age where he wanted to continue with musical art and performing, but what appealed the most?

Then Vinyl appeared along his path, by pure coincidence he was offered a trial while waiting for a dance class to start. Instantaneously, Luke found his new form of musical production and way of performing. The love for music, tempo and rhythm fueled him to peruse further on how to become a "DJ".

Months and years past. The latest hobby of Luke's was taking good turn. He was motivated to learn from mistakes, from what worked, what was in or out of key. Small jobs started popping up that required his equipment and skills.

From that first taste of the energy that is produced from the crowd, even a small one, Luke wanted more.

Performance quantity started to increase, more skills were sought after, feedback was welcomed and followed up, everything was a learning curve to become smoother and cleaner within his mixing. Private Parties, Pubs, Nightclubs and Bars were soon experiencing Luke's passion.

Slowly gaining a better known status among bigger names to then gain residencies around Perth helped Luke pursue further and faster than ever under the alias, DJ Tenzee.

Then we arrive here, now, the present times. From years of experience, learning to read a crowds responses and physical language, to understanding popularity trends and staying a step ahead, it was time to use his experience to create his own sound and style.

Linked.Up was born into the musical scene. A pure passion and love for all styles of music. Producing and remixing with countless styles, tempo's and rhythm. Luke has the ability to implant a positive party vibe onto a crowd, using a wide range of genre's, while still keeping a smooth transition back and forth.

With a fresh alias, Luke is chasing all positive opportunities to share and express enjoyment through music.
