Kandinsky is a DJ and Producer from the very west of Germany. He has his roots in the Ruhrpott and Poland and is now based in the city of Aachen. While he started his musical career with Beats and Bass music, he turned with the time more and more to House music. And even though nowadays he’s mostly producing and playing House, his music is still heavily influenced by Hip Hop, Jazz, Disco aswell as UK Garage and bass music. When djing his sets tend to vary between classic 90s, jazzy Box Aus Holz-ish and Deep Garage House music.

For the 12th release Rotterdam based producer Emiel Zwart returns with a solo EP on his own imprint DNA_rec. The EP contains 4 originals cuts where he delivers some power tracks perfectly suited for every club moment. Reputation and Hidden Elevator are the more banging ones compared to Implicit and Underspace but with every track you can hear his unique distinct sound and again shows where he's capable of. So if you like top notch vocal in Reputation, the spacey synths in Hidden Elevator or the deeper cuts with steady drives of Implicit and Underspace, this distinctive EP is going to bang for sure!

The most recent show was Techlepatic Sessions upstairs at Purple 33, one of our beloved venues that closed down two weeks after our amazing night, following the Oakland tragedy. I've been waiting/anticipating a chance to record a mix for Techlepatic that matches our team's style and is still 100% Donald Thump.

Articulat is the (new) artist name of Ovidiu Stanciu, a Romanian dj/producer living in Rotterdam. Under the moniker Manikin, he worked on several concept albums with titles like Popular Mechanics, Taxim and Grandma’s Attic Revival over the last couple of years. While selecting tracks for this debut EP it felt like curating a ‘best of’, and we chose to put three thriving and pounding slow-beat bangers on the A side, and to show more of Articulat’s versatile style on the B-side. Expect experimental electronic songs inspired by themes like Steampunk and Romanian folklore, very precisely engineered to experience storytelling in the most physical way.

Julian G's first offering to wax is this beautifully reflective track that sits somewhere in the middle of House and Techno, we're going to go with Frosty House on this one! And what a perfect time of year for it! Cosmic Pint Glass has been sitting on this one for awhile now, but it seemed a good winter warmer for as the colder weather kicks in.

Julian started out distributing vinyl for various House labels in the mid 1990’s and the House sickness is still with him, he's runs the Classic 80's / 90's House and Techno group and from listening to so much you can imagine his collection is strong! Even though he's escaped to the fine city of Norwich, he can still be found busting out the occasional parties in his home turf in South London.
