@syrettemusic are the duo behind @tarorecords. The pair favour a “found sounds” approach in their own productions, mixing field recordings with instruments and effects in both the analogue and digital domain.

As DJs they seek to bring the energy through years of multi-genre experience, tailored towards a darker sound. Tinges of electro, industrial and EBM filter through but their love for techno is what guides them. While trading heavily in tracks from their own label and the scene around them, you are never too far from a stone-cold classic being thrown in when Syrette are at the controls.

[BIO]:
Aetha comes from Lublin, where 8 years ago she started her musical journey as a DJ and event organizer, but she is one of the most important club artists in Krakow. She won her position almost immediately after moving. She is known for playing the heaviest forms of deep techno and presented her sound all over Poland. 

In 2019, she performed in Tresor at the New Faces party. Aetha was selected by artist Kaltès working with Female: Pressure.  That same year, she also played an outstanding b2b set with Rraph on the Rave stage of the Instytut festival. Aetha's self-confidence makes it possible to get infected by listening to each of her sets: powerful in sound, tailored to big events. 

During breaks between performances, Aetha works closely with the local community. She had a great influence on the sudden development of the Krakow scene. In 2018, at the peak of the Szpitalna 1 club activity, she was responsible, among other things, for organizing open decks, thanks to which dozens of young DJs had a chance to use professional equipment, who could count on substantive support and the attention of local promoters.  She also organized many exhibitions, meetings and music lectures, thanks to which artists could develop their passions under the supervision of professionals. Aetha worked as a booking manager for STK47 Warehouse prior to the pandemic. She is also a co-founder of the Vultur team, which also includes Rraph and Diabot. 

Aetha is also very active in the psytrance scene, which knows her under a different pseudonym. As Jot, she is sometimes the headliner of events in Poland and abroad. She founded the first and only psytrance booking agency in Poland - Mandala Bookings.

Mahk Rumbae - the British born, Vienna based producer behind Codex Empire - has been creating challenging experimental electronic music for over 25 years working as one half of industrial/experimental band Konstruktivists as well as a number of varied solo and side-projects. Combining this background in dark electronic music with heavy rhythmic elements makes Codex Empire an intense and simultaneously danceable experience both live and on record.

After releasing several well received EPs on aufnahme + wiedergabe, Sacred Court and Khemia Records, as well as numerous remixes and appearances on V/A compilations, Codex Empire released his full-length debut album ‘Slow Erosion’ in February 2019 on aufnahme + wiedergabe.

Linn Elisabet is a Berlin-based producer, DJ, singer, and live performer. Led by their own ethereal vocals, raw broken beats, and immersive sound design, their contemporary and transgressive interpretation of techno strives to reimagine possibility and desire. With a classically trained past in cello and church choirs, it is a given where their reverberant soundscape has its roots. Linn Elisabet has released acclaimed works on labels such as A R T S and Unitas Multiplex, as well as their own imprint Acts of Rebellion. The label expands on Elisabet’s mission: making traditional functionality and outdated policies bow for non-compliance.

Acts of Rebellion releases emotively intense techno and alternative dance music, questioning the border of genre conventions and traditional functionality. By fiercely representing diverse and transgressive expressions, the label aims to dissolve the mirages of destructive policies that hold underground dance back from its original cause. The imprint’s mission is led by artistic collaboration, transmedial expressions, and custom limited-edition releases. ACT affiliates include artists such as Metaraph, Raär, Angel Karel, Amotik, and more.

With a background in cultural activism and norm critical pedagogy, Linn has lectured and managed courses in music production and music business since 2017 for clients like SAE Stockholm, Ableton, Electronic Music School Berlin, Campus Nyköping, and Popkollo. In 2021/22 they did their MA at Catalyst Institute, researching music as gender-affirming practice. All of their work aligns with their vision for music education: curating safer spaces where more people may explore and express diverse creativity and identity.
