I was just curious as to what a "radio edit" might sound like, so I chopped it up a little, basically just skipping the intro, taking out the bridge and blending the last two choruses together, making it a short, punchy song with a sharp finish.

Honestly, I think removing any part of this song just makes it so much less powerful, but there you go.

I love this song, Track 2 from the 'One's Company' EP by the amazing group 'a k u a', but sometimes if I'm just not in the mood for it, the little rap type part in the bridge kinda bothers me...

So basically, here's a quick edit I did by removing that small section and cross-fading the remaining 15 or so seconds either side. I think it actually brings it down a bit and keeps the mellow mood flowing nicely.

Awhile back I spent 12 hours in Emergency at the Royal Brisbane Hospital before I finally got a bed up on the ward, and for the last 3 of those 12 hours I was accompanied by this old guy with absolutely horrific emphysema.

This is only a minute of audio from what was constant that whole time, and in my experience it was a pretty strong case for anyone to quit smoking sooner rather than later.

Slowed it down to 24%, and as I suspected, it is a very defined "Ooga booga" and the 'D' sound people are hearing is an effect of the tribal beat behind the vocal.
