There will definitely be times of darkness in your life and sometimes you’ll feel like you’re on a tiny, little wooden boat out at sea amidst storms and crashing waves without the faintest idea of where you’re going to end up... but sometimes all it takes is the slightest glimpse of a tiny, little light; a beacon of hope. The scars and hardships you overcome can serve as a lighthouse for others headed toward similar rocks. I’ve always loved the imagery of a lighthouse because sometimes the best way to love and help others is not to be a lifeboat going out to rescue, but rather help others find their own way to shore. Lighthouse is a song of HOPE and a song about LOVE. And love in its purest form is always selfless, patient, and kind.
