I started this remix 9 months ago, just days after the Ember Island cover was brought up on soundcloud. The remix was just about to be finished, but something bigger came in the way and it became forgotten, until now. 

A realisation took part a couple weeks ago that the only material on my page was a repost, which wasn't that optimal for actually sustaining a representative feed. I had to upload something. 

After searching through old material, I found this alternative gem. Even though there's probably millions of other remixes, I still felt it deserved to be released, so here you go; 

This is my take on Emberisland's take on Jack Ü's Where Are Ü Now, I hope you will like it.

KNYE and his music always managed to ignite a creative spark for me. And ever since TLOP was released I had an urge to do something with it, not only to up my chance of getting those 350's but also because I truly enjoyed every track on the album. 

Yes, I Love Knye is the only acapella track which makes it the easiest one to use, but honestly I just love the meaning behind it. I interpreted it as a "rant" that kind of switches directions and emotions constantly, and that's why I have those auto tuned breakdowns and distorted drops to give it the dynamics the vocals deserved. 

I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed making it, longliveyeezy.
