Lionwah is a movement for the suffer and oppressed. A collection of music written through the worst conditions in the life and times of James Kingston Bullock, a native New Yorker by way of Clarendon, Jamaica. At the tender age of 13 yrs old, young James (then known as Jimmy Janks) was charged and convicted of robbery and battery charges that lead him to spend the next 15 years of his life being bounced around to every maximum prison in the great state of New York could throw at him. From South Port to Sing Sing these tunes are a collection and testimony of one man's travels through boyhood to manhood, wickedheartedness to righteousness and all the time spent in between in captivity and beyond. James, a devoted and faithful Rasta, has created this music with hopes that word, sound and power can heal the spirituality of his generation.
