Korean-American producer/DJ based in New York City and co-creator of endonesia, an alternative music platform.

Simulacrum marks Suh+Moon’s third release. The project was crafted during his time living abroad in Seoul, Korea, throughout the summer of 2022. Simulacrum attempts to shape a futuristic framework of club music, drawing influence from the modern feel of Seoul. Elements of Leftfield Techno, UK Bass, and D&B are incorporated, with each track taking a distinct direction.

@kh0lle is a Belfast born/Manchester based DJ known as one of it's most promising local talents. From their early start warming up the iconic White Hotel for legendary queer party High Hoops to their regular stints in Hidden's basement, they have been steadily gaining profile from their varied selections, which provide a fresh take on current club sounds. 

This attention led to guesting on in-demand Manchester selector Aletha's Rinse FM show, where they followed through with this philosophy.

Initially inspired by artists such Nathan Micay, they have gradually molded their sound to tightly weave through the tapestry of house, techno, and uk club music from across the decades. Always, however, keeping the dancefloor at the forefront when delving in their collection.

In this mix, they bring together tracks from the likes of Bjork, Photek, Mosca and Ian Pooley, travelling deep in between hypnotic, emotional and psychedelic grooves.

KRISTINA KLIMOVA (Almaty, Kazakhstan) is a DJ, live performer, producer, and urban planner. In her planning work she tries to explore interplay between sonic environments and public spaces. She kickstarted her sound journey at MESS (Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio).

Meeting and learning from pioneers of electronic and experimental music, such as Suzanne Ciani, Hiro Kone, Robin Fox, Peter Vogel helped to develop sonic experimenting in her production.

What sort of mindset were you in when you were creating this mix?

Emerging out of the darkness of winter my mood has been leaning towards mischievous. I’m ready to have a fun time and I’m not suggesting for anyone to go out and break the law, but if having fun was a crime, then the mood of this mix would definitely be “music to do crime to”. 

What setting/vibe do you want your listeners to be in when locking into this mix?

A good setting to lock into this would be a fast drive or bike ride down an empty street in the middle of a hazy night. Maybe you’re on your way to meet someone, maybe you just want to feel the rain on your face… the subby sounds would really hit on some car speakers though.

What genres have you found yourself gravitating towards lately?

I’ve always loved heavy sounds. Lately its been a lot of old-school dubstep and UK bass music for me. I’ve been coming across some incredible latin bass albums/labels as well - Sacrilejio Records  (Lima, Peru), WVWV (CDMX), INVT (Miami). I’m diving into the world of 140 bpm xD
