this is one of the surviving tracks from a period between the late '80s to the mid-'90s from a collection of tapes and burnt cds... almost all of have been lost, stolen, damaged, or locked behind WINDOWS DRM BULLSHIT ... AGAIN. made with a Yamaha RY30 drum machine, some pedals, a crappy Realistic dj mixer, and/or recorded straight into a bargain basement Sony ghetto blaster to cassette.

'tricity - highspeed bleed (2020 drag)

had a nice torrential thunderstorm roll through... in post it was my first time using RX 7 Elements, in this master i more or less removed an annoying low hum the mic was picking up from the next door neighbour's air conditioner, i was impressed with the result. you can hear me at the end when i dragged the chair the h2n was sitting on back away from the doorway as it just started pouring rain right into the kitchen.

thunderstorm august 2020ish

i took the previous thunderstorm field recording (https://soundcloud.com/david-attic/srstereorain2dehummixmstr), enforced a 120bpm onto it (because it was obviously 0bpm, as most field recordings are), and jacked it to 555.5bpm... the reverberating thunder in some parts sound like a staticy radio... the police sirens sound like some exotic bird calls.
