Heavy Sinmad Raga Rock

Exploring the sonic space of the next NUSofting plugins 
[to be released next year].  

Some notes about how I made this track: 

I'm using here two new plugins that I'm working on, the next new
NUSofting products: a soft synth and a granular delay effect.
The same delay effect is also built into the synth itself, a bit
simplified compared to the dedicated plugin.

The goal was to explore the sonic space of the synth in the range of
its resonances and modulations, the delay fx, and some percussive
sounds as well. (Therefore not really a musical composition, that's why I added the "demo demo" vocal sample to play it down a little.) The explorations is slow paced, not the the typical "quick shot" demo
track. 10 minutes, where at the end you have the more percussive stuff. [you can freely download the FLAC file]

The setup was made in the modular "New Sonic Art" Freestyle™ host.  Which is rather handy for such real-time explorations.

There I loaded two sequencer modules: one goes through the Chordz and CCStepper (MIDI plugins by CodeFN42) and then into a synth instance. 

The other sequencer goes straight into the other synth, for the 'beat' pattern. The synth driven by Chordz is also sent into an instance of the new delay effect. 

To record the track I let the 4 bars loops run for
minutes and tweaked the synths only, moving the knobs 
and sliders with the mouse [poor man's MIDI controller].

After that I removed some bars here and there, where too many
repetitions occurred, and mastered the mix using AVA™ Mastering EQ and Beatskillz™ Max-1 Limiter.

There are older tracks I made that feature sounds from this synth in
earlier beta, without the delay effect.
