those overtones in the lead are somewhat unpleasant  (on my headphones)

I like the introduction of the additional percussion. Nice big snare-ish hit.  I'd love a B section or verse to change up the main cadence

I always say the same thing - but I love your unique strangeness you bring to OSC.  You make bold choices.

This may be my most favorite lead sound this month.  Love it!

I'm ready for something else to happen...(sorry).....

So dark, yet so alive. Great sound space I find.

I picture it's about 1:30am ...it's been sort of a long day. Not sure why I'm still awake, but this slightly possessing buzz keeps me shedding into the keys, somehow loving it.

I used some factory presets, a couple of TSOM presets (1 Pad) and DR (1 Kick), and modified many presets, especially to create a drum kit. This was a really tough challenge because I still have a lot to learn about synths in general, and this synth, despite being truly beautiful, is very complicated for me.
I have to thank The Sound of Merlin, CrazyIvan, NeverBeeenInARiot, and Taron (also for the tutorials, thanks to which I somehow managed to create some presets) for their patience, moral and technical support. I received really great advice 😊

For this track I used 11 instances of a wonderful synth named Thorn by Dmitry Sches (DS Audio). All modulations of the parameters have been done live by making use of aftertouch and/or the modulation wheel. So no automations other than some volume changes here and there. In a studio setting, I think this makes the music nice and organic. Of course, a DJ on stage always does this. 

The title “Anemoia” is referring to the phenomenon of feeling nostalgic to a time or place that one has not experienced before...
