Virginia Beach-based hip-hop creative, LiQUiD, is a band member, emcee, and overall pusher of the culture. He started as a freestyle rapper, constantly living in the moment of creation. The word LiQUiD means in a state always prepared to flow. As his moniker suggests, his rhymes are formless allowing his creativity to flow infinitely and boundless never conforming to the typical ideas about what hip-hop should be or discuss. Creativity is at the top of his priority list with his ability to draw inspiration from art, history, or science or from music artists Johnny Cash, Nas, Andre 3K, and Oscar Peterson.

He took his talents to house parties and local freestyle battle competitions making people take notice. Turning his endless flow of rhymes into songs with a friend from Chesapeake, he started to perform shows throughout VA and NC to build a name for himself. Later on through mutual friends on the music scene, a group of VA Beach-based musicians formed a band named The Special Guests and added LiQUiD as their front man. The newly formed group found even more success with their funk, blues, hip-hop style by bringing their sound to venues who weren't open hip hop acts. Maintaining his solo career as the Special Guests continued to grow, LiQUiD has toured Tokyo building a  Japanese fan base. He has had music on the radio, produced a few music videos, and landed the#1 spot on a locally produced music video show named BME presents.
