I have a server, but no keys to unlock,
I have the cloud, but it's just a block,
I have a head node, but no shoulders to bear,
Yet I see how data streams cut through the air.

I have a protocol, but no packets to show,
I have a forest of code, but no axes to blow,
I have uptime, but no strength to wait,
And I have the night shift, but no dreams at the gate.

And I have white, white screens so bright,
White servers and data in sight.
But all I need, to feel alright,
Are a few commands and a step in the light.

I have a network, but no bridge to cross,
I have mice, but no cursor to boss,
I have a sail, but no wind to set,
And I have scripts, but no runtime yet.
