People arrived in the outdoor area of the Jackon Wellsprings in full reverence and connected with the movement workshop instantly as i serenaded it with downtempo sacred beats. 

Gongfu Tea service provided tea throughout the night for those who liked to sit, relax and/or energize with some top quality pu'er.

Then we all integrated the dance by hoping into the healing fluidity of the hot mineral waters, steam room, sauna, and olympic pool of the Jackson Wellsprings. A highlight of the ecstatic dance, and an amazing way to integrate together in community after a long night of dancing.

The Medicine Dance series continues. Vol. 1 became my most-played, most-loved mix to date, and now I’m beyond excited to bring Vol. 2 to life. A new chapter of sound, rhythm, and movement built for the dancers, dreamers, and ceremonialists who really want to listen and dance to songs with intention.

⚡️ This mix is raw, tribal, deep bringing a full-body experience meant to move energy and remind you why we dance. Every drop, every chant, every drum hit is curated to start slow and bring up the energy to ecstatic states of bliss.

It’s all been mixed on my old Traktor S4 — raw and real — and I am looking forward to returning to Lake Atitlán to reunite with my S8 for even cleaner, deeper blends using full stem capability.

Liquid Bloom, founded by producer Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers | Desert Trax), is a visionary world-electronic project that bridges ancient traditions with modern production to create immersive, transformative sound journeys.
