The second release of 2024 features Zemog from Matteria Collective, a new cornerstone of the Pereira based Colombian deep techno scene that is pushing to the next stage, having made its first visit to Japan at EDEN 2024.

Zemog's tracks, which feature remixers such as NEEL and Claudio PRC, have a hi-fi, rich quality, with sound textures that make use of the unique qualities of analogue synthesizers, and a feeling of warmth. The two tracks of Tomalinae and Wanaboto were written for LDG, and you will be able to fully enjoy the distinctiveness of each region of the continent.

2024年の楽曲リリース第二弾は、EDEN 2024で初来日を果たしたコロンビアはペレイラ拠点の新たな礎、コロンビアのディープテクノシーンをネクストステージに押し上げているMatteria CollectiveよりZemogにスポットライトを当てる。

これまでにNEELやClaudio PRCなどをリミキサーに迎えたZemogの作品は、アナログシンセサイザーならではの質感を活かしたサウンドテクスチャー、温かみを感じ取れるもののハイファイ、厚みのあるクオリティだ。日本特有のメンタルテクノとは異なる味わい深い南米テクノ、是非聴き比べていただきたいTomalinaeとWanabotoの2曲はLDGのために書き下ろした新作、大陸毎の特徴を存分に堪能できるだろう。

The third release of the year is a collection of tracks that are linked to a party. The line-up includes Artefakt, an artist on the prestigious Amsterdam label Delsin. DJ MARIA who is now a techno icon in Japan. Tasoko who has had a huge musical influence on LDG. And a debut track by YUTA's new project with the outstandingly talented O-MA.

Break techno with ambient elements by Artefakt. A masterpiece with floating synths, elegant kick and bass, and a remarkable sense of balance between each part.

A energetic groove dropped into mid-tempo, DJ MARIA. opens new doors and updates the track.

Using effects on the main riff to create the structure of the track, this downtempo track shows Tasoko's playfulness and craftsmanship.

YUTA/O-MA's track, an accidental product of their sessions, is structured in two parts, the first half being break techno and the second half changing to four beats, making it one of the most innovative pieces of listening tunes in LDG's catalogue.

今年のリリース第三弾は、パーティと連動した作品集。アムステルダムの名門レーベルDelsinのアーティストArtefaktを筆頭に、今や日本のテクノアイコンとなったDJ MARIA.、音楽面でLDGに多大な影響をもたらしたTasokoと、LDG主宰のYUTAとO-MAによるデビュートラックがラインナップ！

Artefaktによるアンビエント要素が散りばめられたブレイクテクノ。フローティングな上音と、上品なキックとベース、各パーツの抜き差しのバランス感など、匠技が際立った名曲。

DJ MARIA.の代名詞であるフロアライクでエネルギッシュなグルーブをミッドテンポに落とし込む、新たな扉を開いた彼女のアップデートが著しい楽曲。

メインリフの質感とエフェクトで楽曲の構成を創る、Tasokoの遊び心が存分に発揮された職人芸と言えようダウンテンポトラック。

Our 53rd Podcast comes from YUTA is a DJ / Organizer / Label A&R in Japan, who started his career since 2004. YUTA’s playfulness and visions are evident in his transformation from a leading Retro 90’Goa trance DJ under legendary Matsuri Digital, to his Psychedelic Techno project @liquiddropgroove

His music, which he describes as PSYCHEDELIC with build up and cinematic flow is a result of his huge experience as an artist, performing at major festivals such as Eclipse Festival (Australia/Indonesia/USA), Ozora (Hungary), Modem (Croatia), Tribal Gathering (Panama) etc. And numerous clubs in Asia and some Europe.

YUTA started “Agaitida" based in Okinawa in 2015. The theme of the festival is to bridge South-East Asia with a beautiful sunset location in a world heritage village.

His own Psychedelic Techno label Liquid Drop Groove was established in 2016 with a vision to create a space and soundwave that mimics a ripple made by a single drop on the surface of the water. From 2021, launched 2 festivals. EDEN an open air festival with the theme of "Paradise in the Sky" and SPECTACLE a conceptual party with DJ Nobu. 

YUTA provides mixes for London's NTS Radio that one of the best in internet radio, and for maniacal podcasts that reach a core audience around the world. He also runs to quality releases on Liquid Drop Groove, and managing podcasts and distributing downbeat videos. And write articles on Clubberia, a traditional media for electric music. Create a new wave in the techno scene by an original style.

Having travelled in the world and reached the realization that “Life = Psychedelic”he is on a mission to continue with the concept of“Reforming Consciousness”

The first release of 2023 is comes as part of the ALPHA Series.
We are pleased to welcome Synister (IN) and Kohra who happen to be two prominent artists from India.
The two have both had a long standing career in the growing scene of the country and happened to move to Goa around the same time a few years ago.
This is where they met and started jamming at Synister’s O3 Studio which eventually led to the birth of a few cuts including these.
We are thrilled to present this debut collaboration that focuses on the deeper and more hypnotic spectrum of psychedelic techno.
The two tracks are equally aimed for the mind as much as they are for an energetic dance floor.

Qotaroo's minimalist artwork is in tune with the soundscape.
The build-up of the dance floor is expressed with colors, line thickness, and gradation, 
creating a sense of flow. ALPHA is based on the visual concept of lines.

2023年の楽曲リリース第一弾はインターナショナルに焦点を当てたALPHAシリーズ、インドのゴアを拠点とするSynisterの2曲EPだ。

ボイラールームへの登壇はさる事ながら、破竹の勢いで進化するインドシーンの最前線を走るSynisterが得意とする、速すぎないテンポと随所にトランスのエッセンスを感じ取れる楽曲構成はまさにゴアならではのサイケデリックテクノと言えよう、野外にフィットするトランシーな作品。

今回もQotarooが描く、音像にチューニングを合わせたミニマルなアートワーク。フロアをビルドアップさせていく様を色と線の太さ、グラデーションで表現、フロー感を演出。別シリーズにおいては、点で表現したDELTAと、面で表現したBETAに対し、線をテーマにALPHAは展開する。

第一弾は、本シリーズを始動するきっかけとなったMarco Shuttleを迎える。Marco Shuttleの音楽感を語る上で「シネマティック」というワードは絶対的であり、まさにそれを体感できるセット、2022年12月に沖縄Veronaで開催したAgaitida "Year End Party" でオファーした3時間の録音をMix Series 01として公開。沖縄のフィーリングに寄せた一味も二味も異なるMarco Shuttleをお楽しみください。

For the first installment, we warmly welcome Marco Shuttle, who inspired us to start this series. The word "Cinematic" is absolutely essential to Marco Shuttle's play style. 3 hours live recording from Agaitida "Year End Party" held in Okinawa in December 2022 is now published as Mix Series 01. YUTA is a DJ / Organizer / Label A&R based in Japan, starting his career in 2004.

His visions are transformation from Retro Goa Trance under the legendary MATSURI label, to the one and only Psychedelic Techno project Liquid Drop Groove.

YUTA has started Agaitida in 2015, based in Okinawa in world heritage village. The theme is bridge to Southeast Asia.

Psychedelic Techno label Liquid Drop Groove was established in 2016, the concept is to create space and sound that ripple made by a drop on the surface. 

In 2021, YUTA has launched SPECTACLE, a techno festival with DJ Nobu. In the same year, he also launched the outdoor party EDEN. In both, the theme is clear.

His music describes as Psychedelic/Intelligence with build up and cinematic flow, performing at greatest festivals such as Ozora (Hungary), Modem (Croatia), Equation (Vietnam) etc. And he has started playing consistently in clubs in Asia and Europe.

YUTA provides mixes for London's NTS Radio, and wonderful maniac podcasts that reach a core audience around the world. He also runs on Liquid Drop Groove release and podcast, as well as one DJ mix a year on video.

2019年の初招聘から3度目となったLDGの舞台は、今年の7月にWOMBで開催したEDENティーザーパーティ。状況背景はPsykによるクロージング、一貫したグルーブ感と随所でエッジの効いたフレーズでドラマを作り、素晴らしい着地に導いた2時間セットのライブレコーディングです。現場の臨場感を是非お楽しみください。

The fourth of the Mix Series is Psyk, who was discovered by Luke Slater and is the owner of Non Series in Spain. One of the labels that laid the foundation for trancy techno. Finally appears on LDG's Mix Series.

Psyk has played at LDG three times, most recently at WOMB this past July for the EDEN teaser. This mix is a two hour set, recorded live at that time, it was the closing by Psyk that creates drama with a consistent groove and edgy phrasing throughout, leading to a great landing.   2004年よりキャリアをスタート。アーティスト活動を軸に、オーガナイザー・レーベルA&R・ブッキング等、現在は多角的にPSYCHEDELIC TECHNOを仕掛けるプロデューサーも担う。
2010年代、レトロゴアトランスのリバイバルブームを巻き起こしたMATSURIのブレーンとして世界的に注目される。
2015年から始動した「朝陽が昇る」を由来とする沖縄Agaitidaを主宰。世界遺産となったヤンバルを舞台に人生観を変える体験をテーマに東南アジアの掛け橋となる。
2016年、「波紋状の音と空間」をコンセプトにレーベル兼プロダクションLiquid Drop Grooveを発足、2020年のパンデミック中に脚光を浴びる。2021年には「天空の楽園」をコンセプトとした野外フェスEDEN 、DJ Nobuとシーンの変革に一石を投じるべくSPECTACLE、そして2023年はNESSが主軸のThe Gods Planetとバイナルレーベルをローンチ。テーマに沿ってPodcastや動画の配信など、テクノシーンに置いても異端児として根付く。
メインアクティビティとするDJでは、TECHNOだけに限らずジャンルの垣根を超えたシネマティック且つPSYCHEDELICなプレイで世界20ヶ国を渡り歩く。ネットラジオの絶対的な存在であるロンドンNTS Radioを筆頭に、世界のコアな層に届けるマニアックなプログラムにもミックスを提供。山頂瞑想茶屋とのプロジェクトYuta Chayaを始め、Liquid Drop Grooveから良質な楽曲リリースが多数控えている。

ーーDJ MIXはどちらで録音されたものですか？

代官山Debrisで録音させていただきました。スタジオとしても活用できて、DJ向きのホームスタジオとしては非常に優秀な機材環境です、かなり整っていて「素晴らしい」に尽きます！

ーーコンセプトがあれば聞かせてください。

僕のテクノは古いのではないか？、まずここに焦点を当てました。自分にとって新しい音楽をテクノのフォーマット内で探索、それを盛り込むのがコンセプトです。

例えば、序盤はハーフステップです、意外性ですよね。笑　他は、ディープすぎるハメより程よい心地良さを併せ持つインテリジェンスな音感を、四つ打ちではなく変拍子を意識的に取り入れる、トランシーの解釈を改める（僕は実際トランスシーンからきてるので、ここは僕なりにかなり苦戦したポイントです笑）もちろんバイナルに収録した楽曲も。今回はこんな感じでやってみました。余談ですと、12月中旬の香港でスローなベースに出会い、かなり刺激をもらったのでいつか表現できたらと思ってます。

2019年の北京ギグで、もし自身が好みであれば暗めのピークタイムテクノもできるようにならなくては〜というのを機に今のスタイルを取り込んでいき、アップデートを繰り返しハメ倒すプレイになっていった背景があるのですが、このミックスをキッカケに自分自身を振り返れましたし、年内に古いマインドセットを脱ぎ捨てる事ができて今はホッとしてます。

僕のやりたい事が流行りと真逆でも、自身を貫き通す美学があったのですが、2022年の開国の際に世界を体験できて、その中で僕の思想は「音楽的な可能性を狭めているのではないか？」ここに辿り着きました。好奇心を拡げて、もっと音楽に時間を注ぎたい、そう意気込んだ一発目のポッドキャストです。

ーー今後の活動、イベントがあれば教えてください。

2023年はクラブイベントをガンガンやっていくのを抱負にしていました、2024年は主催を控えていく予定です。レーベルワークにエネルギーを注ぎつつ、才能あるアーティストのサポートも兼ねてリリースを増やしていきたいですね。

自身でいうと、良質なポッドキャストが幾つか決まったので、そこで結果を出す事。あとは人見知りの克服でしょうか。。笑

「拘り抜いたアーティスト選定がコンセプト」を掲げるLDG Mix Seriesの第五弾は、バイナルのコラボリリースで新たな一歩を踏み出した同胞NESS。

本ミックスは、昨年9月にVENTで開催したレーベルショーケースのクロージングセットをレコーディング。ドライビングでサイケデリックなセレクトも多く、NESS自身が楽しんでいるのが伝わるプレイだ。

直近では、長年の代名詞だったヒプノティックスタイルを一新、マインドセットを変えて音楽に向き合うNESSと、LDGのキュレーションによる次作のバイナルに心を踊らせながらも、NESSのアップデートを日本に届けられる日に期待が高まる。

The fifth of the LDG Mix Series, which is based on the concept of "carefully select of artists" features our buddy NESS, who has taken a new step forward with the release of a vinyl collaboration with LDG.

This is recorded from the closing set of the LDG label showcase held at VENT last September, the play had a realistic feel that NESS itself enjoys, with a driving and psychedelic selection.

Most recently, NESS has renewed the hypnotic style that has been with his music for many years, changing his mind-set to face music. And we look forward to our next vinyl curated by LDG, also the day when we can deliver NESS's updated techno to Japan.

The sixth of the LDG Mix Series is experimental and ritualistic, hypnotic and abstract, and we feature Mike Parker, a master who has had a huge impact and influence on the techno scene for a long time.

We have variety release in 2024. The first one is the international-focused ALPHA series, featuring two tracks by Ricardo Garduno, founder of Latin America's leading techno label, Illegal Alien.

An early LDG friend and his third release on LDG, Ricardo Garduno has been an integral part of LDG's history, appeared in Hachijojima rave at the label's launch in 2016. At the time, Ricardo's unique style was characterized by Sci Fi techno layered with trance-like melodies. Since 2020 he has been to release groovy techno.

YUTA is a Japanese DJ / Organizer / Label A&R to the one and only psychedelic techno project Liquid Drop Groove. YUTA also started the Agaitida Festival in 2015, based in Okinawa in a world heritage village. Liquid Drop Groove was established in 2016, with the concept being to create space and sounds that ripple, made by a drop on the surface.

With appearances at festivals such as Ozora, Modem, Equation, Wonderfruit and Rural plus regular club sets across Asia, Yuta is known for his psychedelic atmospheres, cinematic flow & minimalist grooves.

The second release of 2024 features Zemog from Matteria Collective, a new cornerstone of the Pereira based Colombian deep techno scene that is pushing to the next stage, having made its first visit to Japan at EDEN 2024.

Zemog's tracks, which feature remixers such as NEEL and Claudio PRC, have a hi-fi, rich quality, with sound textures that make use of the unique qualities of analogue synthesizers, and a feeling of warmth. The two tracks of Tomalinae and Wanaboto were written for LDG, and you will be able to fully enjoy the distinctiveness of each region of the continent.

2001年よりサイケデリックサウンドを世に広めるためBoshke Beatsを設立したAlex Tolstey、クオリティの高いダンスミュージックをアウトプットし続けMidimiliz/Extraweltなど多くのアーティストを輩出してきた。本作は2017年にLDGよりリリースされた「VA / New Orbit Wave」の続編となっており、世界を舞台に活動するヨーロッパの大型アーティストの作品もコンパイルされている。前作に引き続き、骨太アシッドテクノからヒプノティックなミニマルテクノまで、現在進行形のダンスミュージックが収録されている。

Boshke Beatsは、サイケデリックテクノを広めるため、グラフィックデザイナーをしているInga BurinaとAlexが2001年に立ち上げたレーベル。レーベルが誕生したその背景には、非合法レイヴやヒップホップまであらゆるストリートカルチャーが影響し、その当時テクノとトランスが融合しドラマティックで映画のような展開をみせる楽曲を提案するレーベルは皆無であった。今なおアップデートを続け、エレクトロな要素が詰まったサイケデリックテクノをアウトプットする。
