Zum Frühlingsanfang präsentieren wir euch wieder mal etwas ganz Besonderes: Diese "Ton Terrine" ist nach allen Regeln der musikalisch stark beeinflussten wienerischen Downbeatschule selektiert und von dem Saarbrücker Produzenten >>Eoan Pradox<< - gemixt worden. Saarbrigge – Stadtmitte lässt grüßen. Doch heyyyy, wir reden hier nicht von einem Elementarteilchen, das im Spin nach kurzer Zeit zerfällt. Das hier ist auch kein Physikkurs am Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium, sondern gelebte saarländisch-elektronische Musikgeschichte. Doch wer ist dieser Soundalchemist überhaupt? Hier müssen wir ein wenig die Gravitation reduzieren und einen Sprung durch das Zeitgitter wagen: Es gibt mehre Wechselwirkungen im Kosmos mit >>Stefan Klaucks<< Musik und Alter Ego-Multiversen, denn wenn man alle Teilchen mit Masse zusammennimmt, kommen viele bekannte Namen heraus, die das Saarland immer wieder auf die internationale Landkarte der elektronischen Musikkultur gebracht hat. Kleines im Großen bewegen, sozusagen! Die etwas betagteren Zuhörer werden das ein oder andere Projekt noch kennen, das im Sternenstaub der guten alten >>Vienna Scientists << (2004) mit dem Duo >>Legal Subs<< entstanden ist und bei dem >>DJ Fred Scholl<< der zweite Produzent im Bunde war. Auch die Live-Formation >>SOLAN<< (zusammen mit >>Denis Reinhardt<<) (gegründet 2007) war ein erfolgreiches Deephouse Projekt und ein Schulterschluss mit dem Soulsänger >>Issac Roosevelt<<, um erste Veröffentlichungen wie z.B. „Gotta use It" zu wagen. Es gab großes Lob aus der Szene, Chartplatzierungen und „Beatport Exclusives" folgten.  Weitere Alter Egos wie >>Loca Bato<< und >>Dresslifter<< ergänzen sein Profil und sind nicht minder Komplex.

Auch wirklich ein herausragendes Vinyllabel war >>Noir&Son<< (R.I.P.) (2013-2015) (gegründet mit >>DJ Oliever Henry<<). Alleinstellungsmerkmal mit nur drei Katalognummern, die es in sich hatten. Auszüge aus der Artistliste sprechen Bände: >>Shine Box<< (>>Loca Bato<< & >>Etienne<<), >>Matthias Wagner<< (Humpty Recordz), >>Etienne<< (Otto). Leider wurde dieses Projekt nicht weiter mit ausreichender Energie versorgt. Die experimentelle Bestätigung gilt dennoch, was die wenigen Tracks in den DJ-Sets von Kennern immer noch zu Floor Bomben macht.

„Als ich im letzten Sommer auf meinem Balkon chillte, fiel mir ein, dass ich ja noch meine alten Playlists aus meinem iTunes aus der Jahrtausendwende auf einer Festplatte hatte. Also, Goodby Spotify und noch mal die alte Collection gecheckt. Da ich eine ziemlich große Sammlung von Downbeat und IDM-Musik aus dieser Zeit besitze hat mir das Durchstöbern den kompletten Sommer versüßt. Die Musik war damals wirklich außerordentlich kreativ und vielseitig. Allerdings hatten manche Songs eine so schlechte Klangqualität das mir die Idee kam die Essenz meiner Collections in DJ Mixe zu packen und diese dann klanglich aufzupolieren. Herausgekommen sind ein halbes Dutzend einstündiger Reisen durch diese Zeit von denen Du jetzt einen Teil zu hören bekommst. (gez. >>Eoan Pradox<<)"

In the early 90’s I recorded a mixtape called Sector 101, it was popular for some time and I got to play part of this set on Power Toolz 106 FM which was a DJ radio show broadcast in Los Angeles on Saturday nights (this is where I met Richard Humpty-Vision, Tony B, Sweedish Egil, and Gerry Meraz).  This is also when I started to play DJ sets on Sweedish Egil’s Groove Radio and KSPC.  I put a link to my original mixtape recording below.  Back then DJs were making lots of mixtapes to hand out to promoters and fans, it was like a DJ’s business card.  We also had to deal with the 90 minute hard time limit, 45 minutes per side of an audio cassette tape, which was pretty annoying.  In the Fall of 2023 I decided to continue this mixtape series and released Sector 303, so now here is the 3rd mix in the series, Sector 606!  I hope you enjoy the music, and be on the lookout for more sequels in my Sector dj mix series!
