Keeping alive the Saafi Brothers’ reputation for chilled out eclecticism, the musical and emotional range for which they are renowned is very much in evidence here. From the rainforest tinged Dub Funk of ‘Ritualized Space’, through the epic deep Techno Sci-Fi soundscape of ‘In Far Away Places’ to the wigged out Acid House of ‘The Possibility of Change’, the album has much to offer for any connoisseur of contemporary Electronica.'

Vataff Project’s ‘Come and Join’ EP is an immersive ambient dub-techno groover paired with a deeply hypnotic remix from the legendary Saafi Brothers!
Victor Marinov is an esteemed Bulgarian electronic producer with a sound all his own. Having released his debut full length album on the seminal Aleph Zero label as well as producing an EP with Markus Henriksson (Nobodys Home/ Minilogue/ Son Kite, Liquid Sound Design is thrilled to present this single ahead of his upcoming ‘Back to The Forest’ album due this autumn.

Vataff Project has an eclectic experimental sound all his own drawing from elements of ambient, ethno, psychedelic & techno.. all the while mixing electronic beat with traditional Bulgarian and worldwide instruments. His studio is set in the Rodopa mountains in Bulgaria, a place of great spiritual power and home to the legends of Orpheus and a country with a deep mysterious power. The end result bringing profound feelings of ecstasy, dance and ritual which come from the heart, the ancient times, the present and the future.

This mini album is an eclectic selection of cinematic ambient, ambient techno, and melodic trance. It brings together tracks that evolve in linked and coherent harmonies and melodies. My work is always focused on translating gentle emotions connected to universal love and its unconditional dimension. Aptly named "Venus" to portray the sense of a particularly developed sensitivity and feminine presence in the composition.

“The track "Amor Fati" (cinematic ambient mix) is a meditation. A hymn to life and death, to the unconditional love we hold for our loved ones, and to the acceptance of the passing of time. I wish to dedicate it to my father who passed away this summer."

Dub Spencer & Trance Hill is thrilled to announce that an EP will be released on LSD Records with brand new mixes by the UK remix legends Youth and Tim Bran.
“The ‘trance’ in the band name stands for the electronic part of our sound. Although it has hardly ever appeared on a record, it has always been there – much like the original tunes of Trance Plane & Fugu. Now we want to explore this aspect.” 
From the old comes forth the new, and dub merges with electronic dance music, or rather  “trance music”. Tracks like “Trance Plane”, “Fugu” clearly have an up-tempo spirit and extend an invitation to rave. The sound has become even more bassy and psychedelic without losing any of its earthy, organic touch. The four musicians booked the legendary Winterthur Hard Studios to fine-tune their sound, returning with lovely tracks that bubble, echo and groove wonderfully and have the unmistakable Dub Spencer & Trance Hill sound. It’s a truly magical moment, much like the birth of a butterfly. 
Dub Spencer & Trance Hill refined artists such as William S. Burroughs, Dieter Meier of Yello, Ken Booth, Lee Scratch Perry and others.

Some artists and productions simply stand the test of time, DUB TREES is one such artist and this is certainly one of those productions. First released in 2000 as the beginning of Youth’s (Martin Glover) ‘Dub Trees Trilogy’, ‘Nature Never Did Betray the Heart That Loved Her’ still sits in many press and reviewers ‘Best Of’ lists as one of the top ambient/psy-dub albums produced alongside the Mysteries of the Yeti, The Orb and Shpongle. This comes as no surprise as all have intimate connections to Youth’s original Butterfly Studios and were the driving force behind the birth of psy-dub.
Dreamt of and fronted by legendary producer YOUTH, Dub Trees has always been a collaborative project which has seen early Butterfly Studios alumni OTT, Greg Hunter & Simon Posford involved as well as other poignant musicians such as Wadada (Suns of Arqa), Dervesh & more recently Jah Wobble.

A new Dub Trees album is underway and will be released on Liquid Sound Design in 2024.

Holeg Spies’ BRAVE NEW WORLD is another immersion… this time in Aldous Huxley’s novel he wrote in the 30’s. More than avant-garde, Huxley’s novel is visionary and an amazing accurate painting of our current dystopian world. HUXLEY’S MEDICINE refers to the other great book of the English writer: “The Doors of Perception” published in 1954, the book elaborates on his psychedelic experience under the influence of mescaline in May 1953. Huxley recalls the insights he experienced, ranging from the "purely aesthetic" to "sacramental vision". 
This new Holeg Spies’ EP is obviously an abstract ambient trip inspired by this Rosetta stone book. Andy Falconer’s remix offers another angle…
Andy, an esteemed producer and engineer known for his early years with The Orb, is now part of the band Sedibus with Lx Paterson. He is also rather prolific having a multitude of releases under his solo project AFP.

Liquid Sound Design is thrilled to share with you this debut solo release from Supercozi. It is a special release for us being the first full album produced by a female in our label! Her vision for Cinemadelica was to release a solo album with a strong cinematic concept that would pay homage to early classic and graceful film music she so dearly loved. 
She always dreamt of and was determined to achieve this goal completely on her own from production through to the  final mix. Having made music for over 30 years already, it has always been in somewhat collaboration with other musicians or producers, so this is a special release for her.

“The last thing I wanted was to recreate a retro worldview, but rather suggest a new 21st century psychedelic, jazzy chill-out; combining my influences of eclectic, diverse film music with other electronic music I’m inspired by such as ambient, dub, trip hop, breakbeats and psychedelic downtempo. I am ultimately pleased with the outcome of this experimentation! More importantly, I truly feel in the end, that I have presented and somehow carved out my own style with this album. From this I am encouraged to explore this style in my future works.”

The project was birthed at the first ever Space Mountain Festival (Puretone Festival then) at Martin 'YOUTH' Glover's legendary home & studios in Andalucia, Spain from an impromptu jam session that went so well it stuck!

Evan Bartholomew has been performing electronic music for nearly 20 years as Bluetech, Evan Marc, Invisible Allies (with Kilowatts), and is one of the founders of MicrodoseVR, with Android Jones and the Vision Agency team. He is an internationally recognised touring music producer has released over 27 album/EP and is a master of analogue/modular sound synthesis. His passion for sound design and cutting edge audio exploration shows in everything he touches and transcends the constructs normally associated with an ‘electronic artist’. Evan pursues music with meaning and purpose covering a multitude of styles from ambient to downtempo, future bass and techno.
