COM UM SOM MAIS SÓLIDO E SETENTISTA, LIQUIDUS AMBIENTO LANÇA OYSTER, O SEU SEGUNDO TRABALHO, 

Participações de grandes músicos não falta para o próximo lançamento em vinil da banda

Experimentaram o afrobeat. E o resultado, maduro, não poderia ter sido melhor. A solidez deste novo álbum se dá principalmente nas frases diretas dos metais, beirando o rock, sem faltar o suingue do gênero criado por Fela Kuti. As influências são claras.

Todas as faixas, em seu resultado final, possuem a objetividade construída por uma catarse sem improvisos, o que não caracteriza o jazz, porém, utilizando-se dos mesmos recursos do estilo para o seu desenvolvimento, que viaja superficialmente entre cool jazz e o fusion.

O soul instrumental com sua linha de baixo funkeada, é o que melhor define esta orquestra, que não nos permite os rotular. Sem deixar a cítara de lado, porém, um pouco menos explorada neste novo trabalho, o álbum traz a metaleira que fecha os olhos do ouvinte “quebrando” joelhos e quadris, juntando-se ao sorriso espontâneo numa pista, ao maior estilo Brass Construction, aos moldes de Kool and the Gang, ao mesmo tempo, ébrio como Trombone Shorty, conectando-se à brasilidade de Oberdan Magalhães e Vitória Régia.

Em alguns momentos os solos fusion de guitarra acompanham os metais num som crescente, tornando o barulho ritmado, choroso e grave. A guitarra funkeada é a especialidade da casa, devidamente enDUBada por bateria e baixo, assim como sugeriu Lee Perry, lá no século passado. Mas aqui, algumas faixas, são ainda marcadas com a presença de uma flauta tribal e viajante.

A bateria roqueira aparece constantemente. O brilho da guitarra é o “quebra-cinturas”, e garante presença em algumas faixas, com um overdrive leve, que dá as caras enquanto o fraseado do nipe, seguido das manifestações livres de convidados como Kimyaro, Sergio Soffiatti, André Edipo, Gustavo Dalua, Asnésio Bosnic, Beto Villares, Bocato, Siba e Léo Gervasio, sustentados por Elias Debenedetti, Master San, Lello Bezerra, Beto Montag, Heitor Matos, Gil Duarte, Igor Thomaz e Felippe Pipeta, concluem faixas responsáveis musicalmente e que revelam a grandeza da Liquidus Ambiento.
