thank you sooo much for the opportunity to play at your event! thank you for your trust, your support and your kind words. i have no words left to describe how i felt while opening my beloved hopper floor :') big thank you to all the lovely dancers and to my friends who came all the way from passau to celebrate with me. dancing in the confetti rain and meeting all those strangers and artists who inspire me was just GREAT.  

this is kind of a wild and chaotic opening set and you will find a few imperfections in it because i was so nervous that my hands were tooo shaky to beatmatch properly :D but i can tell you, i had the time of my life <3

Für alle die dem Frühlingserwachen entgegenfiebern, haben wir genau den richtigen Soundtrack für euch parat. Dr. Gemein alias Benny aus Gießen, serviert uns mit seiner Interpretation eines Igelkarussells, ein fein abgeschmecktes Down-und Midtempo Set. Als Gründer des Kollektivs Familie Feiernacht und als Hüter des Biotops verzaubert er das Nachtleben in Mittelhessen seit geraumer Zeit. Als gemeinsames Projekt der Feiernacht-Spulenigel Connection fand letztes Jahr das erste Mal das „Biosphäre“ Mirco-Festival statt, welches auch in diesem Jahr stattfinden wird. Die Synergie der beiden Kollektive sprach Bände, sodass ihr euch gern schon mal den 27.05.2023 freihalten dürft, More Infos tba ;)
Der Weg des Gießener DJs und Veranstalters begann 2019 auf verschiedenen lokalen Events, welche er stets mit seinem Kollektiv gemeinsam kreierte. Doch eigentlich startete die Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik bereits viel früher: In den späten 90ern und Anfang der 2000er. Werke wie „Homework“ von Daft Punk inspirierten ihn nachhaltig und hielten ihn fest im Bann der elektronischen Tanzmusik. Schließlich mündete die Begeisterung darin, dass er sich vom Konsumenten zum Produzenten von eigenen Sets und Partys weiterentwickelte. Dabei versucht er seiner Philosophie stets treu zu bleiben: „Am wichtigsten ist es für mich etwas zurückgeben und teilen zu können.“ 
Die Hingabe für Raver, die Technoszene und die Musik formuliert er wie folgt: „Ich versuche die Schönheit der Musik in meinen Ohren zu reflektieren und den Menschen mit unseren Veranstaltungen und meinen Sets eine kleine Reise weg vom Alltag zu bereiten.“ Word - Mehr muss man dazu nicht sagen… 🧡🙏
Sein Mix für uns beginnt mit deepen Vocals gepaart mit Neoklassik gefolgt von treibenden Downtempo Beats, welche sich allmählich in Tempo und Intensität steigern. Dabei lebt der Mix besonders von der progressiven Machart und wandert dabei kunstvoll zwischen Melancholie und Heiterkeit. Durch dieses einfühlsame Storytelling erhält der Zuhörer die Möglichkeit in andere Sphären abzutauchen, Bilder wie die unserer Biosphäre erscheinen unmittelbar vor unserem inneren Auge und lässt uns erneut ausgelassen im Sonnenlicht des Biotops tanzen.

Today we wanna share some love beats of our dearest @duygu_music with you, a beautiful human being & warm soul that luckily joined the Love Family in Munich in 2021, after she played her first gig for us at a small outdoor festival in the hearts of nature. Even more lucky we are to have such a great artist and booker with us on board ever since. 😍

Her set - recorded straight from the infamous Harry Klein Club in Munich for our lovely friends of @teamturbotunes - is a vibrant homecoming to the sound she first fell in love with - back to her roots, back to her characteristic driving, melodic Techno sound we know & adore her for. 🌿

In our opinion, her music actually describes her personality quite well - this constant, sometimes subtle, sometimes wild drive that makes you wanna run (& dance!) next to her. Accompanied by the flowing melody of her loving and inspirational spirit, that makes you wanna hug the world and embrace life to the fullest. Thank you for being with us! ❤️

I was invited to play the extended warmup at Kabinett der Kuriositäten in Frankfurt in a room, so full with wood and plants you feel like you are deep inside a crazy jungle, filled with beautiful People dancing in beautiful costumes.

Starting with "Mastodon" from my forthcoming EP on Wildfang Records, i had an absolute blast and im glad i can share it with you.  I hope you enjoy the tracks as much as i do:

I imagined, playing at Fusion Festival would be intense… but still, I was not prepared for what happened at Luftschloss that Monday morning.

Being tense as fuck, I could not manage to fall asleep the night before. Tiredness and nervousness turned into pure panic, when my mixer broke down during the opening track. So, I decided to play CDJ for the very first time (a challenge I could not have managed without my wonderful friend Sascha (Ralli & Hanso), who gave me a crash course while I was playing). 
At some beautiful point, all my weird emotions and the struggle turned into a wild and mad energy, I never experienced before. I got lost in the music and when finally listening to the closing track, this moment felt engraved in my heart. 

Thanks to Fusion Festival, Luftschloss, my beautiful friends and family, Schnuppi, my Ram Schakl crew and a fantastic crowd.

Das ein Mix von Nɨxe bei mir etwas mit Wasser zu tun hat, is ja eigentlich klar. Den Termin für den Podcast haben wir schon vor gut einem halben/dreiviertel Jahr ausgemacht … da ich Nɨxe unbedingt in meiner Reihe wissen wollte. Nun war sie wie so viele andere gute Freunde auf dem kleinen feinen Sa Terza Metari Festival in Sardinien und hat dort ein überragendes Set für ein noch überragenderes Floor-Publikum gespielt … aber halt leider nicht den beliebten Record-Knopf gedrückt. Aber da ja der Podcast für Elektro Uwe in den Startlöchern stand … wurde der Moment nochmals nachgefühlt und mit etwas Abstand rekonstruiert. Ich sag nur so viel „MENO wieso war ich nicht dabei“ 🌊 🌊 🌊

Nɨxe … tausend Dank für die schöne Idee mit dem Sa Terza Metari Set … passt zu 100% genauso in meine Reihe. Und nun liebe Hörer spürt noch ein bisschen dem Sommer hinterher mit den Tönen von Nɨxe.

MUSIC
Lisa Filou likes moody basslines, melodic breaks, sexy vocals and some quite nasty drops. Her approach to making music is very sensitive, thoughtful and context driven which is why her sets take you on a unique journey every time.

STORY
After discovering a passion for electronic music while living in Paris, curiosity for more brought Lisa to the techno capital Berlin in 2016. There she tangled paths with her music and artist collective Ram Schakl. Since her debut in 2018, she played the floors and stages of some of Europe‘s finest clubs and festivals. 
In 2020 and as a new projects, she started producing and founded the DJ duo ELIXIR together with Lex Ring of Ring & Dorf. She joined the Mystic Tales agency in 2021.
