A special broadcast on WOWD, Takoma Park Community Radio, with Unity in the Community as a cohost, in response to recent killings of people of color.

This program is follows a week of national protest and confrontation and mourning.  During such moments, Takoma Park and surrounding communities come together for solidarity, wisdom, and action—whether at Piney Branch Elementary School, the Silver Spring Civic Building, or downtown Washington, D.C. 

Right now we are living through a deadly pandemic, a pandemic that is disproportionately hitting communities of color. For this reason, we are coming together virtually tonight.
