Composer, bassist and theremin player He was born in Rosario, Argentina, in December 1978. As a child he becomes very early passionate about sounds and instruments. At the age of eight he starts studying classical guitar at the Escuela Municipal de Musica in his hometown Rosario. But seven years later he changes his guitar for an electric bass and falls in love with this instrument since then. Since 1997 he dedicates himself to play the electric bass and to arrange and compose rock, pop, jazz and folk music. In 1999 he starts formal studies of classical and contemporary composition at the Music School of the National University of Rosario. Attracted by acousmatique music, he moves in 2004 to Buenos Aires to finish his academical studies at the National Quilmes University and in 2008 he gets a Licence in composition in électroacoustique music. His natural curiosity led him to a life full of frequent trips abroad which fed him with a lot of musical experience of all kind (short movie music, folk music, afro-american rhythms, contemporary music). In 2006 and 2009 he went on European tours to spread his home country’s folklore. He did it first as a musician and then as the musical director of the Ballet “Nuestras Raices”. He met his wife in Switzerland and he is living now in this country since 2011. He is sharing his time between composing électroacoustique music, working as a bass player, studying the theremin and rising his two little boys.
