From a young age, DJ Lise has had a love for music. Since she was young, her father always showed her his passion for music and infected her with it. 

During her high school years she attended Meander College where she would get painting, arts and crafts and music lessons. Though at the time her passion was more towards painting and arts and crafts than music. In her music classes she would sing soprano and started singing in a choir at her school. 

During her university years you would often find her in the club partying, enjoying the music, making some dance moves. In 2021 she started taking dancing more seriously and started with pole dance at home during Covid times. Later on, she started taking bachata classes and kizomba classes. When DJ Selekta Yaya proposed to make a remix together, saying she has a good eye for music, she decided to take him up on it and went to Paris to work on a remix with him. As they worked on the remix together, a new passion was born and it was the start of DJ Lise.

Having lived in Saint-étienne and Paris for a year for her studies, you can feel the passion for French music in her music. She takes her inspiration mostly from Kizomba, Latin, R&B, Afro, Amapiano, Hiphop and Dance Hall music.
