I once had a band when I was in school, they were in the same university with me. our soundcloud page still on (soundcloud.com/monsieur-story) we still put our records online so everyone can listen to our songs, yea, we have some songs maybe 10 or more(?) but we only recorded 3 songs. how stupid.  yea we were stupid. Why? Because we didn't take our opportunity seriously. I don't mean like professionally, but we know we have potential, everyone has. At first I thought to myself that this hobby wouldn't be that big of a deal, I thought that I knew this path wasn't mine. But, as I grow older, I began to think it's just a matter of thought. The idea of not sure about ourselves, that u think u can't have fun about being a musician. An asian thinking that being a musician is not a profession or a career or even make money out of it. Many asian parents do. They DON'T understand. And if u think that way, u underestimate ur self and it is a horrible way of thinking. Musicians don't do music just to make money out of it, they do it because they love it. Their heart is in it. They also pour their hearts out to make melodies. And spread the love through soundcloud, spotify, itunes, radios, or do everything they can just to show us HOPE through their music. The famous ones are lucky enough to make money out of it. So, if u are lucky enough to have such an amazing bandmates right now, hold on to them. They are the ones that knows the rhythm of your heart.
