While we were spending a lovely time in Copenhagen, we happened to come across Jesper Mygind behind the booth at our favorite spot in town. We caught the scent of a great selection of club music rooted in house and techno, with detours into related genres.

We really liked him, and it was a pleasant surprise for us. That’s why, even after years, we still remember his sets and the energy they transmitted to us.

Apart from being a great DJ and selector, we felt his personality truly matched the Save Our Sound ideology: someone who simply loves music and enjoys it to the fullest.

We are very happy to share one hour of his music in our podcast series.

Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! Fides Records celebrates ten years of independent sound and vision with the monumental 41-track release “FIDES X – 10 Years of Fides”. The first 12” FIDESX 1, set to release on 24th October sets the tone for the seven-part vinyl journey, opening with a powerful statement of intent.

UFO95 introduces “After Light Comes Shadow”, a bleep-infused 4/4 cut whose broken accents unfold into layers of cinematic tension. Z.I.P.P.O and Claudio PRC follow with “Marte Rosso”, a poetic excursion across Martian landscapes shaped by evolving pads and hypnotic grooves. D-Leria’s “Underwater” plunges deeper still, driven by relentless modular propulsion and immersive aquatic textures.

The B-side expands the spectrum. Stephanie Sykes & Dyad contribute an untitled roller infused with spiritual intensity and organ-like resonance, while BIMOL’s “Fragmento en La” twists cinematic atmospheres and industrial edges into broken rhythms guided by a haunting Spanish vocal. Bringing the record to a close, Decoder delivers “We Keep Lying To Ourselves”—a slow-burning, 808-driven piece of subtle progression and timeless elegance.

https://essential-part.com/ After carving a sound that resists categorization, Upercent returns to Essential Part with ‘Buzzing Letters’, a two-track release that dives into the extremes of his sound.

The EP opens with ‘Mosquito’, a raw piece constructed around a distorted kick and the unmistakable tone of the Roland 909. The arrangement harks back to the golden age of hard house in Valencia, when abrasive textures and American influence shaped the sound of a generation. Here, Upercent filters that memory through his own language. Rough, direct, and intentionally unpolished. The result is his dancefloor imprint, tightly coiled, physical, built to transmit impact without dilution.

‘Post Office’ delivers a complete shift in character. Centred around a vocal line that echoes a neighbourhood postman delivering mail, the track plays with rhythm and form, leaning into a sense of controlled chaos. It feels spontaneous but never careless. Every twist, every drop, is loaded with intent. Upercent's sense of humour surfaces here. Not through irony, but through sound that dares to misbehave.

With Buzzing Letters, Upercent sketches two short messages. One is an attack. The other, a smirk. Both unmistakably from the same hand.
