Born in the 90s and too young to participate in the first raves, S7RENS have the ambition to update a music they fantasized about by combining original and modern production techniques: Analog synths, plug-ins, OP-Z and Ableton intertwine.

Euro Visions, their first single, was created during the club closing period through cathartic studio sessions. It is an explosive mix of italo-disco, euro-dance and sounds inspired by the Belgian New Beat. It has been played in all Parisians open airs last summer and was mixed by renowned DJs. The tune gets a breath of fresh air with an irresistible rave remix by Berlin producer Marlon Hoffstadt aka DJ Daddy Trance - previewed on HÖR Berlin and out on February 9th 2022. 

Through their following 4-tracks EP Euro Visions out on March 18th 2022, S7RENS shares their vision of a proud, festive and multicultural European youth. Produced for "peak time moments" it is full of unforgettable melodies, intense grooves and emotional synths.

We’re delighted to welcome italian producer Alberto Melloni on Ulla Records ! With his EP “Scaleno”, he displays the wide array of his production game, going from new beat to italo and synthwave, through 3 original tracks, supported by two remixes from Tech Support and Plexi Glass.

The eponymous opening track, “Scaleno”, sounds like an ode to the new beat era, with its punching drum beat, wild sound effects and slamming stabs. Then comes “Blonde”, entwining synths and pads, layed over an heavy rhythm section, the soundtrack to your night spree through the city. Finally, we’re having an uplifting ending with “False Piste”, an explosion of vibrant melodies, navigating somewhere between italo and synthwave. 

We also wanted some ace remixers on board, so we asked London based Tech Support to put his magic hands on “Blonde”. He delivered an intense, heavy, club-ready remix, with its hypnotic groove and dreamy layers of synths. Then we have newcomers Plexi Glass, hailing from Rennes, who decided to pace it up on “False Piste”, unleashing frantics drums and galloping basslines, making for a supercharged remix.

Set for release on March 13th 2020, Marlon Hoffstadt’s debut album ‘Planet Love’ marks the ninth release on his label, since its launch in 2017.

Having established his very own signature sound over the years, navigating through feelings from house, disco, trance and eurodance, Planet Love showcases these sensibilities in a long listening format.

While he seemed to not take himself too seriously throughout his past releases, naming records “Ready For Take Hoff” and “Der Hoffmaster”, Marlon now touches a topic which, over time got more and more serious and important to him. Having dealt with anxiety and panic attacks in the past he developed his very own mantra, which one could already recover in projects such as his phone free "Savour The Moment" events at Berlin's Renate.

“Be kind. Be humble. Take Care. Give Love. Because only love will set you free”.

This simple but powerful mantra, that he kicks his album off with, is not only his very own guide through insecurity and fears that he faces in his life as a musician, father, student and promoter. Much more it is a reminder that true success is not defined by heavy touring, big money and fame. Instead being successful means to be kind and caring towards yourself, your fellow humans and the environment and that most importantly love is stronger than anything else.

"I wrote it during a very intense and emotional time, right before the birth of my son. After my parental break i found time to put the finishing touches on it and now it will finally see the light of the day."

The full album is out March 13th, 2020 and is available digitally as well as on a 2x 12” double LP. It comes along with a full cover artwork from Hermann Reimer, titled “Ewige Gärtner”.

Marlon Hoffstadt follows up his debut Album with new four track EP 'Hands In The Air Eurodance'.

The Berlin native is back with a dancefloor ready good vibes EP, describing it as "Tongue in cheek dance music, for hands in the air moments, on the dancefloor, your living room or under the shower. The EP is an ode to all the hands in the air dancefloor moments that we are going to miss this summer, due to the Corona Virus."
