HAPPY HOUR (HarmonyX B2B LINNEA)

Recorded spring 2021, sitting in the sofa in my studio apartment, without headphones, just for fun. I started recording in the middle of mixing (never intended to post). I was exploring a very strict and methodical mixing technique for my own curiosity: looping four tracks on 32 bars, each on either low mid or high, whilst letting the fourth song finish. For the most of the set I did not deviate from this method. You will hear annoying loops for too long, tempo fades and volume changes inbetween tracks of different genras (rave/tekno). My mixing-“technique” had prob been more suited to ambient/polyrythmic/dub. 

Not mastered because I listened to it after posting (ok i listened to it unattentively with two friend the night before XD) and anyways I kindof like the happy little mistakes to quote bob ross. Nostalgic set to me because the xone:dx was lost in a vert tragic way and this is the only recording i have from it.
