These guide tracks are to support community members record their voices for the Dawn Chorus installation at Toynbee Hall which will become part of the Summer in Aldgate Festival 2021.  

Use these guide tracks to listen to while you record yourself singing parts of the song.  

You will need two devices - like a phone and a laptop or a phone and an ipad.  
You will also need headphones.

Listen to the track you want to record a few times before you start.  Sing it through a few times.  Remember it doesn't need to be perfect, just real!  We will edit all the voices together when you send it to us.

Use a voice recording app on your phone to record.  Get the app ready.  Connect your headphones to your other device.  Here you will need to play the guide track.  Press record on your phone and then plan on the track.  Sing along after the count in. 

Email your recordings to gail@soundcastle.co.uk.  You can usually do this by finding the 'share' button in the app you're using.
