Chequerboard is the recording name of Dublin guitarist John Lambert. John has just released his third album titled 'The Unfolding' on Lazybird records which was described by Jim Carroll (The Irish Times) as a dazzling album 'full of mesmerizing guitar lines, dramatic strings and serene atmospherics'. John will be perform songs from said album on the night, using a plethora of machinery to create layered and textured guitar passages which are as intricate, haunting and detailed as they are melodic and purposeful. www.chequerboard.com

A bi-monthly live music event run by Strike the Air, taking place at the reading room in Lilliput Press publishing house in Dublin on the last Sunday of every second month.
