GIRL is Christian Winther and Ina Sagstuen. With acoustic guitar and two voices, the duo has reached an alternative singer-songwriter sound where the guitar, melodies and lyrics complement each other and are equal. 

The voices of Ina and Christian melts together in unison lines. The aesthetic expression is about not overdoing it. Eclectic exuberance and character are concentrated in a stripped down atmosphere, where basic elements are being transformed into rich variations.

Earthly Habit

In the midst of Norway’s flourishing young creative music scene you’ll find experimental indie duo Listen to Girl, who’s second album ‘Long-term World’ is due out on February 1st via Earthly Habit. Their intimate and delicate sound, an invitation to be guided through new territory via lush duel vocals and soaring chorus hooks.

Electro-folk track “Touchscreen Wisdom” is the second single from Listen to Girls upcoming album Long-term World. The duo clings to some kind of finesse, though bringing in layers of impulse and improvisations. Soft electronic beats and synth drizzle surrounds the acoustic guitars and the nearly whispering two voices complementing each other. Lyrics has an impuls to it and jumps unpredictably, as from tab to tab on your browser, from “ex machine” to “sugar sauce” and ends up scrolling on a dating-app.
