Fetherstone, in collaboration with London-based producer Harry Tarlton, presents 'Two Hands on Deck’, the fourth instalment of her self-titled 4-track EP. Under the guise of Fetherstone, her new electronic-pop-folk infused persona, Australian songstress Briana Cowlishaw brings the tradition of the troubadour storyteller into the modern electronic pop genre through her innate passion for storytelling. 

The single was featured on the Richer Unsigned August 2017 Highlights playlist, which was then later hand picked by Newton Faulkner to feature on the Richer Unsigned record store day vinyl compilation, April 2018. 


A note from Briana.... 

Often as artists we think we need to go the road alone, tough it out and struggle to make things work on our own, because we should be capable, right? In this fight to be strong enough, good enough, noticed, credited as an artist, I often find myself lonely, doubting my art and it's validity. 

This song is about letting that go and celebrating collaboration. Letting people in to bounce off, create with and feel like you are part of something bigger than yourself. This track is intended to capture what it feels like that moment you let go - a feeling of release, weight lifted from your shoulders, excitement, playfulness ... and potentially a little party dance to celebrate!

KAZE - aka Japanese speaking opera graduate Amy Webber - is one of Manchester's exciting new prog-pop artists. Webber trained as an opera singer for 6 years before rebelling to follow her pop calling. She brings theatrical performance and soaring vocals to KAZE's definitive and genre bending music. KAZE have been hailed as “fresh-sounding, future-facing” by BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson and praised by BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway for their “syncopated prog-pop”. 
Despite being a brand new act, KAZE have already secured airplay on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Scotland (Single of the Week), BBC Radio Manchester, BBC Radio Oxford and Amazing Radio. The self-directed one-take music video for 'Pinned On You', their debut single, made ‘Video of the Month’ on OurStage and consequently KAZE were selected as ‘Artist of the week’ for Richer Unsigned. KAZE are currently preparing their debut album, set for release in 2020.
