A Capercaillie is "singing" during the lek/courting season. Jumping around and making noise with his wings. If you listen carefully when he's not making wing noise, you can hear a very low base tone during the scraping/sizzling part of his "song".

Western Capercaillie - Tetrao urogallus - Tjäder

The same spot on Lake Flacksjon recorded a month later 22nd May 2018. Massive drop in water levels and change in birds. Bittern, grasshopper warbler, lapwing, water rail, cranes, cuckoos, and a scary animal.
