The label’s debut release, ‘Bamidele’, is already gaining international momentum. Known for his hypnotic fusion of deep-rooted African rhythms and cutting-edge electronic soundscapes, Hydra’s productions masterfully weave percussive grooves, atmospheric melodies, and emotive storytelling into an immersive dancefloor experience.
“Bamidele,” meaning “Follow me home” in Yoruba, is a powerful tribute to heritage and a symbolic return to roots. For HYDRA, it’s a deeply personal release, a journey back to origin, identity, and self, inviting listeners to unite on his musical mission.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Black Coffee and Keinemusik, HYDRA has spent years refining a signature sound that resonates in both intimate clubs and major festival arenas. His mission? To push Afro House to new heights and redefine its boundaries. Adding to his momentum, HYDRA has recently been signed to UK-based OVAVA Music, a label helmed by renowned DJ and producer Ollie Mundy. Since its launch, OVAVA has rapidly gained traction as a hub for cutting-edge electronic music, delivering a festival-ready soundtrack and breaking new talent with each release. Upon hearing HYDRA’s early demos, Mundy immediately signed two 
tracks, recognising his distinctive sound and artistic vision as a perfect fit for OVAVA’s artist-focused ethos.
With OVAVA already making waves through releases like Ollie Mundy’s ‘Kirima’ feat. Nes Mburu and Natalie Jane’s Afro-House debut ‘Amanea’, HYDRA’s upcoming singles will further cement the label’s influence in the genre.

Madlochs Sound Avenue rounds out their spring release schedule by welcoming Christopher K back to the label for his first artist EP. Based in the United Arab Emirates, Christopher K has emerged from his countrys progressive house scene as an artist to watch. Inspired by the likes of Guy Mantzur, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, amongst others, the Dubai resident formed a creative partnership with Sound Avenue early on, releasing his first three projects for label affiliates 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds across the span of a month in 2020s fourth quarter. Moving forward, Christopher would add Mistique Music to his resume, but it was ultimately the Sound Avenue label group which would operate as his primary home, as he notched additional releases for 3rd Avenue and Future Avenue, as well as two contributions to Sound Avenues popular Correlation series, all landing across the next three calendar years. Now, as the summer season approaches, Christopher continues to build his bond with Sound Avenue, returning to the label for his first artist EP entitled Genesis.

The latest release on Madlochs 3rd Avenue imprint finds the label showcasing the 34th edition of their popular Three Of A Kind series. These VA EP releases feature three artists, each contributing two original tracks, resulting in a unique blend of sounds that has become a hallmark of the Sound Avenue family. For the 34th edition, the label invites Edu Russo from Spain, Guido Giuliano from Argentina, and Hully Che from Belarus.

Renowned Spanish producer and DJ D-Formation once again surprises the electronic scene with the release of his highly anticipated new album, Nine Forms , a special work commemorating the 400th release of his label Beatfreak Recordings. This project represents not only a milestone in his career but also a tribute to more than two decades of promoting electronic music from an independent and avant-garde platform.

With Nine Forms, D-Formation pays tribute to his most authentic vision of music: “A form of expression without filters, without following trends” declares the artist.

The album consists of nine tracks, each born from a collaboration with prominent artists such as Alex Medina, Nihil Young, GRAZZE, Darksidevinyl, Masella, Blueheist, and Andrew Sar.

Through these collaborations, the album outlines a sonic journey full of nuances that moves between indie, melodic, afro and progressive house, always from a deeply personal approach. More than just an album, Nine Forms is an artistic statement in which groove, immersive
melodies, and flawless production come together to create a rich, deep, and atmospheric listening experience.

“This album was born from creative freedom. I wanted to surround myself with artists I deeply respect and shape a project that reflects my essence, without following fashions or predefined patterns,” says D-Formation. The result is a mature and cohesive work, where each track preserves the identity of its collaborator but naturally integrates into a common, solid, and exciting narrative from beginning to end.
