Sarkis Mikael is a music producer and DJ who creates eclectic electronic music. The Los Angeles based artist has taken crowds from Miami to Dubai on journeys of physical abandon and inner discovery via his therapeutic, globally-influenced rhythms and melodies.  

Sarkis’ releases on The Soundgarden, Sol Selectas, Hoomidaas and other labels of note touch dance music’s subterranean reaches, drawing out the listener’s emotional core through organic instrumentation and synthetic exploration. 

As founder of Deep House LA and co-founder of NCTRNL Records, Sarkis has worked to establish a foundational community for deep house through his conviction that the right sound vibrations combined with the right state of mind can heal and transform us.

No matter if playing live or compiling a mix, Floloco, or Florian with his real name, strives to create something whole. The result is hard to pigeonhole as he moves across genres although never losing his signature theme: an intense ride through electronic music; cinematic, dramatic, yet never missing that particular groove. 

The electronic music enthusiasts has his own show “Sonorous” on Frisky radio and runs Schirmchendrink, the globally regarded brand with delicious “cocktails” of underground electronic music (and, admittedly, an incredibly hard-to-pronounce name). The original concept just celebrated its 200th episode anniversary past December. 

Together with his good friend, Benoit, Florian is further part of the deep electronica duo Gimérique. After founding Schirmchendrink together in 2016, they today work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with releases on labels such as Sound Avenue or Harabe Recordings.

An homage to my most beautiful trip…

Greece marked my life in a different way. 
While I visited this wonderful country as a child with my family, united at the time.... 

I discovered myself. I learned what it was like to immerse myself in a culture, to discover breathtaking places. I swam in the ocean, walked on lands with so much history and spent unforgettable moments with my family. 

I had the chance to go back, this time as a grown adult.  A completely different experience that convinced me that music had a big place in my life. 
I could vibrate to the sound of the sea in perfect cohesion with the violin. That's where I could understand why some people dedicated their lives to music. 

I also learned to listen to my body, to respect it.
To understand that sometimes life doesn't always go the way I want it to, but that the music and the land, this bond that unites us is stronger than anything.

Greece has inspired me on many levels and I hope you will understand why it has such a big place in my heart.

Imagine you are on the waterfront, with your favorite people, bare feet in the sand, the sun setting... let the sound of the music take you away...

Your plan now is to start your strict new diet and to go the gym five times this week and burn off all the extra calories. Or, you hit the play button, listen to our next Schirmchendrink episode „Red Eye“ by PHCK and calories will take care of themselves! 

PHCK, a talented trio consisting of Paul Hoffer, Christ Kusterer and Stefan Kling, has its origins in the creative dark cosmos of Germany’s Black Forest.  

Chris as DJ and Paul as a classical musician started creating music together in late 2013. Stefan, a singer a musical allrounder, joined the project in 2017 after the first successful releases on Chapter 24 Recordings, Connaisseur Recordings and All Day I Dream. 

PHCK’s music is a transformation of their own emotions; a reflection of sensitivity - of love, hope, grief, reflectiveness and sometimes a cold and dark emptiness.  

We have heard they are working on their first album to be released maybe this year...we can only hope this is true as we always want more of PHCK’s deeper shades and emotive electronic music! What a treat <3

Curtiss:
Is a Zurich based Hungarian DJ. His music career started in 2009 in Dunaujvaros, where he was a very much defying figure of the city's biggest house parties for years. Then in 2012 life brought him to Switzerland. From 2014 for 18 months he was the resident DJ of Terrasse Bar, and ever since then he has worked in many prominent clubs and bars. In 2016  he launched his online radio "Bekool" that is built on fine, soft deep house  beats - still streaming, unstoppably. His music style is a blend of deep house, chill & lounge, however, he likes to play tech house and deeptech sometimes, too.
