Whether with Crazy P, as a remixer or via his RBJ edits series @ron-basejam has been a go to artist for us for many years now. If you are exploring the cooler end of the disco genrem RBJ's output is a perfect starting point. His tracks cover lots of ground from chugging disco, 80's underground, house groove through to Balearic sun laden bliss.

His latest project see's him remix Nottingham based power trio the Attraktors comprising 2 tone veteran John Thompson, Antony Hodgkinson and James Flow of Six By Seven. Referncing everythin g from Depeche Mode to Eno and Human League to Kraftwerk theirs is a thoroughly captivating sound.

Released as a limited vinyl only 10" which also comes with a free download of the Attraktors acclaimed debut album its an inspiring project.

This episode starts off slow and bubbly, because I was in a slow and bubbly kinda mood that day. We actually start off with something new from me - a track called So Precious that will be out on Discoholics Anonymous soon - I'm very excited!

Me being me things don't stay slow and bubbly for long, and I eventually pick up the pace to smash out a few disco edits and such like towards the end. We've got new bits from Moonroy and my good pals The Magic Track, and assorted less new bits from various artists. 

In hour 2 I bring you a guest mix from Steve Gladdis, AKA Smashed Atoms. I'm proper excited to get Steve in for a guest mix at last - I've been a big fan ever since I heard Cut This Way a few years back, and his productions and DJ mixes are consistently superb. He's definitely not disappointed with this mix - it's a perfectly put together selection of mid tempo groovers, filled to the brim with funky basslines, beautiful vocals and sexy synths that perfectly brings out that Smashed Atoms sound - I love it.
