1738 Edinburgh Old Town - Anne Bayne waits for the return of her betrothed poet - Allan Ramsay.  She explores her thoughts with walks around Duddingston Loch to find her childhood tree house gone.  She creates a new world to excite her imagination and makes a discovery she would rather not reveal.  Keeping this to the new place she has found gives her an unexpected sovereignty she now knows how to enjoy.
